On Memorial Day, I post a pic of a female character that fell in the line of duty. Here's my Memorial Day subject for this year...the beautiful Amida Arca of the Iron Blooded Orphans chapter of Gundam. Amida Arca is the second-in-command of the Turbines and is the top wife of Naze Turbine and an ace Mobile Suit pilot.
She was killed during Iok Kujan's assault against the Turbines, when her Hyakuren was hit with a projectile from a Dainsleif railgun. Though her mobile suit was heavily damaged and she was on the brink of death, she was able to fire a final shot at Iok's ship, almost breaking through the ship's bridge.
