I love the lines here and the inherent contradiction. Death says that he/she “cannot interfere in the affairs of mortals beyond their final ones”, but then says, “Any directives of her I don't care to follow, I just goof up!”. The contradiction here is that Death CAN interfere, but chooses not to. And it's further contradicted by the hint given. This also re-contextualizes Deaths relationship with Billy & Mandy, where Death only acts the part for amusement, and leans into being a goof to refuse.
