I might be strange, but I’m imagining her talking to someone who isn’t Max….
At least she doesn’t have to put on the red light. I’ll see myself out.
On a mostly unrelated note, I’m reminded of talking with my first ‘girlfriend’ on our family’s ROTORY DIAL PHONE. Roxanne’s living the dream, comparatively.

Ooooo… maybe she’s talking to Goofy. Tsk… how naughty. I also remember rotory phones! I’m 40 years old so I also remember VCR’s, giant ass microwaves, records and 8 tracks plus all that great 80’s stuff. Actually, I got a healthy does of items all the way back to the 50’s thanks to my grandparents house. Good memories.
