Yeah, skinny cow doesn’t do it for me. I think there’s a bunny mascot for carrots that’s kinda cute. Cadbury I think had a bunny mascot too from a long time ago.
In all seriousness, you are right. We do need more products represented by pin-up girls. I do worry about the potential for over-sexualizing women within society and other surrounding equality issues. Just, not enough to override my desire for seeing women over-sexualized. I’m a really bad advocate for gender equality…. Sorry ladies.
P.S. Not sure if this makes my (rather hedonistically motivate) position any better (in fact, pretty sure it doesn’t–a world in which everyone has body-issues is probably not better than a world in which half of the population does, but at least it would be ‘fair’ in some sense), but I’m all for over-sexualizing the male image as well. Not all that interested in the male physique, but, hey, what is good for the goose is good for the gander….
