High Society

I think my favorite part of this is the glass with no base.  That and the boobs… I like the boobs too. ^_^

very cool. i like her style, but the glass makes me think that she’s from an upper class, in some science fiction future, where we have anti-gravity tech, so that when you want to put the glass down it hovers there. interesting that i can come up with a back story for a character who only has one picture, using only one object as the basis for the whole thing lol.

Hey, that’s a pretty cool idea! I saw her more in an a more surreal setting of the upper class. Maybe she’s at a party and has a waiter/servant follow her around with a drink stand on a tray for her to put her drink on. It’s fun coming up with different back stories to single picture characters. Anyone else with a back story for her?

I was just wondering, have you ever thought of doing speed art videos and posting them on here? The reason i ask is that i always struggle with hands and feet when drawing and i would love to see how you plan them out and complete the sketch. I’d also like to know if you use the “basic shapes” method to plan out a draw or do you get right in to drawing a character? Thanks for all the amasing art if you don’t want to anyway! 🙂

I’ve never thought about doing a speed art video, I have wondered about doing a art stream video. I don’t know how to set it up though. I should probably look in to it, I think it might be fun. ^_^

If I could favorite these pictures somehow I totally would! XD

I tried looking for a “favorites” plug in for Word Press, but no dice. Nothing that looked like it would do what I want it to do anyway. >_<

I pretty much like everything about this pick; from the outfit, to the hairstyle, to that baseless glass. I actually spent the bus-ride to work trying to think of a way to make that practical. Could have a base that just rests on the table and put the glass into it when not drinking, but that would require both care in returning the glass to the base and moving the base when relocating. Perhaps a magnetic field above a table could suspend the glass and a very dense weight at the tip of the stem could keep it upright (or some magnetic field manipulation that requires more physics knowledge than I have), but there are problems with this as well (energy consumption, drifting glassware, etc…). Of course, the easy solution is just to make a baseless glass, and force the drinker to carry it until finished, but that is just impractical. I love my aesthetic value in things, but if it isn’t art, pragmatic considerations trump that. Anyone think of another way to get this to be both practical and pretty?

I love how we’re all thinking about the glass and how to make that be practical and not the fact that she’s got her boobs on display during this dinner party. ^_^

Oh, I like those tits just fine. But it is not everyday (every drawing?) that you present us with potentially real awesome stuff. I’d love to have those glasses ( not that I host all that often)–can’t have real furry girls, but might be able to have that crystal.
