I Never Get Tired Of This

What are some songs that you just never get tired of no matter how many times you hear them?  I listen to music while I work some times and it dawned on me that I’ve listened to some of these songs for 20 years!  One of those songs is Are You Gonna Go My Way by Lenny Kravitz.  I still remember rocking out this in high school.  Another is God Gave Me Everything I Want by Mic Jagger.  I discovered this one in the early 2000’s but I totally fell in love with the song.  Ironically, this one also has Lenny Kravitz in it.

There more the few that I could list off next, but this one is my favorite of all time.  It’s the Barenaked Ladies cover of Lovers In A Dangerous Time.  No matter how many times I listen to this one, I just end up loving it more.  I remember staying up all night long at a friend’s house and watched a Much Music special on the BNL back in the early 90’s.  To me, at that time in my life, it was just perfect.  No Lenny in this one though… I’m fine with that. ^_^

    I like a lot of what is now referred to as ‘classic rock’. Stuff made before 1985 and the like. There are a couple of stations in St Louis that play lots of the old standards, many bands too numerous to list and songs even more numerous. A sample of my favorites are:
    Pink Floyd
    Blue Oyster Cult
    Led Zeppelin
    Beatles
    Rush
    Black Sabbath
    Ronnie James Dio
    Bob Dylan
    Plus a lot of prog rock and 60s psychedelia.
