I want this figure
I don’t buy anime figures. The only large figure I have is my Summer Time Peaches, but there are times where I’m seriously tempted. I found this one as I surfed around a few weeks ago. Does anyone recognize her? She’s from that Senran Kagura 3DS game, the one with the big boobs.
The characters name is Hibari and shes pretty damn adorable. If I had the funds I would totally scoop her up. She’s made buy the fine people at Phat Company, who apparently make a pretty damn fine figure.
She also comes with a re attachable arm so she can give the double victory sign. Hibari actually comes out October 2012 so I do have time to save up for her. Again, seriously tempted…

She’s cute, and they’ve posed her nicely. I especially like the way she is rocking back on her left foot. I could totally appreciate someone rocking that one their desk. Well, in certain work environments, at least (I don’t think it would be looked well upon in mine).
Have to say that I’m a little surprised by the price. There are some very complicated mechanical toys (e.g. Gundam, transforming Macross fighters) that go for less than that. Maybe it has something to do with the molding process, paint-job, or the limited run? Though, she is pretty tall. I’m not trying to dissuade you from buy her. Heck, I’ve paid that much for (what some might consider semi-embarrasing) things/art that I do/will proudly display.
The only time I thought of buying figures was when I was in a Book Off. There was a gacha machine at the entrance that was selling VERY (I can’t emphasize this enough) lewd bath-time loli figures. They were small, cheap (but of decent quality), and would have made perfect freak-out/gag gifts for my friends back home. However, I decided not to buy them just to avoid any potential conflicts with customs agents.

I’m guessing the price is due to the fact that she’s apart of the game series and a limited run too. The bath time loli figures you mentioned sound familiar. A friend of mine picked some up in Japan a number of years ago and what you described sounds just like them. I wonder if they’re the same. I think I would have risked it and picked some up. ^_^

Man, I wish I could find a picture of them (I looked). It was around 2004(?). They were maybe an inch or so tall… I think most of the girls had pink (possibly blond) hair… and were posed in various bathing positions (exaggerated for sexiness). There were a few capsules that you could get from the machine, but any of them would have been funny/….
You’re probably right, I should have grabbed them, but I’m a wuss. (Would it help to say that my wife-to-be was with me at the time?)

Oh man, if I had a space to put her I would snatch her up in a heartbeat! She’s very cute, not too racy, and of decent work. I say if you have the space and scratch, then go for it!
