snow – post 242

It snowed today!  YAY!!!!

I love snow.  Always have, always will.  I think it’s funny when I’m all “yay snow” and others around me complain and say they hate it.

Nope, snow doesn’t bother me one bit.  When I shovel it, it’s a nice quite time alone, a bit of a workout and a great time to get lost in some thoughts.  I love the quite that snow brings to the world.  Everything becomes soft and silent.  It did snow a bit early this year and it most likely won’t stay, but that’s okay.  See, I am a bit bummed that it snowed because my kids are going to have to get super bundled up to go trick or treating.  That sucks.

Oh well, you can’t control the weather.  My daughter will just have to be a princess going out in a snow storm or something ^_^

    Ah the snow. As Linkin ParK puts it, “This is my December. These are my snow covered trees”. Not December yet but I’m with ya on snow Joe. Reminds me of one of my dreams/animations. Log Cabin in deep in the forest, the green needles of the ever greens peeking out from the white blanket of snow. Sitting by a warm fire looking out a frosted window at the night sky illuminated by the light from the moon reflected by the now while listing to “Christmas Eve Sarajevo” by the Trans Siberian Orchestra. It’s pure joy.

    Other then a good lightning storm during the Summer, this is my favorite time of year.
