popcorn – post 176
So tonight we where feeling munchy, but we didn’t beak out the usual snacks. We dusted off our hot air popper for some popcorn. I forgot how good air popped corn is. ^_^
My wife used to be big on her microwave popcorn but I always found it too salty. So much some times I couldn’t eat it. Plus I never was cared for the “butter” flavor. I remember my Dad making popcorn in his air popper ever Saturday when I was a kid with real melted butter and salt… mmmmm… and it has to be real butter because margarine just makes soggy popcorn. Yuck. >_< Those are good memories.
So one year I was stumped on a gift for my wife for Christmas. I saw a popper for $15 bucks and I thought… why not. She opened up and had a look on her face like… you bought me popper? Well the first time we used it she fell in love with it and now we don’t buy microwave crap any more.
So that’s my popcorn story. Do you have one? Or story about some other favorite snack?

I’m addicted to tortilla chips. Born in L.A., mexican restaurants every other block on the street, I was more or less raised off of ’em.
Anyways, a year ago when I was working some temp job, I put my personal family-sized bag of chips away (rubber band it and label it with my name). I throw some trash out and when I turn back this guy’s digging through my bag of chips. I saw red and rushed the guy. I floored him. That’d’ve been a good day for me if I wasn’t fired.
