The Commission List
Basic Character Commission
This is a picture, drawn by yours truly, of your character, in whatever predicament that you would like to toss them into. The baseline price listed on the right is for a single character of average design complexity, with a basic bacground. You can of course add more characters, props, and backgrounds, though it does increase the cost. My basic background can be a color splash or a single piece of simple furniture (A chair, a bed, hugging a pillow, etc).
Character Design
I will work directly with you in stream, designing a new character for you, and producing a number of sketches in various poses so that you can see your character from a number of angles all the way up to flat color versions so that the colors and patterning can be seen easily on your character. The whole package comes on a 5000x3000 pixel page and you of course have copyright to the character. This one is great if you don't have a ref sheet yet as it profides the most flexible payment method for the amount of work you get. At $30 an hour, you can choose to get a very basic set of poses with a little detailing for a low price or you can up the ante and get a few of them pushed all the way into full cell shading.
Character Reference Sheet
The base prices for the Ref Sheet include one full body shot (generally front, but it can be 3/4 or the like), two expressions, a closeup or detail shot of something important to the character design, the color pallate generally done on a chibi of your character, and of course, the name and info, put in with Photoshop. You can add up to two poses, two expressions, another detail shot, or even a couple chibis of the character in different outfits to show what they normally wear for added cost.
Icons
These are drawn and colored at 600x600 pixels, and you get a copy of the original piece as well as postable icons at 150x150px and 100x100px as those are the most common sizes. The Icons are stills, not gifs, and can be drawn with background color or no background at your choice. I also provide 'Couples' Icons, which are accomplished on a single 1200x600 pixel page and you are provided with the original picture as well as each icon, already seperated in the above mentioned sizes.
Comics
Yes, I do them. Yes they are a little spendy. Yes they are worth it. I make comic pages, single or in series at the commissioners request, detailing out some action that their character has to go through or have happen to them. They can be from two to six panels long, but they all remain in the same comic book page format for size of work (8.5x11 inches at 300dpi). So, two panels provide you with two large detailed pictures, six panels with smaller detailed pictures...that said, the price includes the background, which I pan around as needed for each scene, a base of two characters, though more can be added at further cost, and of course I will help you figure out the finer points of the storyboard.
