Jeanette rough
Seeing as how we where talking about the Chipmunks/Chipettes a few days ago and I also mentioned posting rough pics I guess this is pretty good time to post this. I actually just found it today when I was going though some old PSD’s. It’s from 2008 according to the date on it. It seems that I drew her more true to the cartoon in this one. Opinions and thoughts on that are welcome.

Joe,I looked through your entire gallery. Safe to say that you are incapable of drawing anything bad. She’s looking cute in this pic. I’d love to see it finished,as would undoubtedly the rest of your fans.

She looks perfectly adorable! That’s one of the many reasons I’ve always loved your art: you manage to combine cute and sexy. 🙂

I admit, I’m a bit of a Jeanette fan. She is just so…adorkable! You have a real knack for capturing the ‘feel’ of a character.
(Dunno if that makes sense, but I can’t seem to word it any better.)

A bespectacled girl, on a bean-bag, with a book, and an inviting look… there is nothing wrong with this.
Just two questions:
1) What is a PSD?
2) Why is this just a rough? (it’s brilliant!)

A PSD is a Photoshop Document. It’s how I do all my art. And this is just a rough because I drew it as in idea that was supposed to be a finished piece… but never got that far.

Even your rough sketches are better than a lot of ‘finished’ art I’ve seen. A new Jeannette pic is always welcome.
