    Dakota
    By Camdil

Her beauty is such that it spawns legends of folks being mesmerized by a glance
With rumors that she is surrounded by an aura that leaves all in a trance
While her luxurious coat of fur is groomed to a perfect sheen
For she intends for it all to be seen
Showing her muscles are so firm and so tight
Yet somehow she remains soft as a cloud in the sky at night
Meanwhile she hypnotically waves her elegant tail ever so slightly behind
As she slowly overwhelms her targets mind
For she can seduce any with her shimmering eyes of emerald green
As her golden hair flows ever so free to the point that they’d swear it was a dream
Her face becomes a form of perfection when she gives her seductive smile
As she manipulates her targets actions all the while
For she is blessed with a figure that all the greatest sculptors envy
Still she might end up being be this world’s greatest enemy

This is based on a character of my own design that goes by the name Dakota she is from a story i have been working on.
Sorry no pic of her yet

You described her like a godess, when you gonna draw her?

I would not quite call her a goddess but she is close.
She is a mink based anthro with tan to dark brown fur that I am using in a story I have been working on. In the story she is the head of a semi-political, semi-religious global organization known as the consortium whose true intent is yet to be known. Dakota her self is a very charismatic leader who is schooled in various forms of combat. Yet there is very little known of her past before the consortium.
As for your question the problem there is I can’t draw worth a damn so I am thinking of commissioning someone to draw her.

It is No biggie if folks don’t post, I figure if they have something to say they will post it or let me know via messenger, besides this forum is mainly about pictures anyway.

Yup I know and everyone here seems to be open to all sorts of “art” be it poems, stories, or a well drawn picture. I wanted to try to add something instead of just looking at the pictures. So I started working on some poems based on pictures I have seen here. I was not quite sure at first how they would be received, but to my knowledge no one has objected to any of the poems I have posted as of yet.

                Dakota test pics

hi' - nice poem, the way you describe her is kinda god-like

i had a go at drawing her, but it didnt go like i'd hope,
my sketchs look more like minerva mink with a tan and another hairstyle
this is what i came up with.

who knows, maybe someone will be able to do it with more luck.

info on what you like, and what you dont like, can help..
allso what cloth does she have on, as a norm?
                the 7 most important things:
                Line
                Shape
                Volume
                Form
                Value
                Texture
                Color

Well I would love to help you, but I can't draw minks well. And your descrition of her is god-like, which is kool. She kinda reminds me of an older Angel Shobeck(One of my female characters.)

First thanks for the kind words and the sketches. I am honored that anyone would want to draw her after just reading my poem.

As far as the sketches go I think they came out pretty good,
The changes I might make in the coloring would be lighter on the fur, start with a light tan in the front than getting darker toward her back, also on her hair I would mix in some brown highlights.

Being prominent in high society she tends to have a feminine business casual style during the day while at night when she attending the various balls and galas she goes to she wears elegant evening gowns.

I have asked polar to draw a version and he agreed once he has time so that should look great. Still if anyone wants to draw to draw her please feel free, I would enjoy seeing how other might see her.
On a side note I should have a poem based on her nemeses up soon.

                      Caleb
                      By Camdil

He came from the dark to become the nightmare of many
As he stands ready with battle ax in hand to take on any
While his black fur shimmers in the fires light
He prays for the peace he finds in a fight
With his muscles chiseled to perfection
For there will not be any wasted motion
As he casts a piercing stare
                      While delivering his toothy glare
To welcome whatever challenger might dare
For Caleb’s purpose has become crystal clear
With his unbridled rage and unyielding power
He is destined to rule with a dominion of fear
Cause it nears time for his glorious and the world’s horrific hour

This is based off of another one of my characters he is a rottweiler based anthro known as Caleb. He also happens to be Dakota nemesis.

                          One year and still here

                          One Year and still here
So I here is my latest attempt at coloring a picture by polar. Instead of dollar store colored pencils I used Paint, I think it came out pretty good which is a testament to Polar’s line work
Also here is one of my most recent poems, enjoy

                          ECSTASY and AGONY
                          By camdil

                          Ecstasy and agony
Are opposites that have been joined for an eternity
                          Much like light and dark
They are destined to never part
Both with an eternal need for each other
Yet still fated to clash forever

Still they will remain an eternal need
If we ever truly expect to succeed
For it is through the tribulations of life’s agony
And the exultation in life’s ecstasy
That we can achieve are destiny

Now that Cheetah has been kind enough to open a lounge for all the writers out there in JAB land. Let’s show him we deserve it.

A simple haiku I wrote about a cheetah

                            Cheetah haiku

                            Spots from head to toe
Lay chase to their nervous pray
                            Bringing death with speed

Hey cool my thread is still around

Well here is the latest thing I have been working on I call it “Resurrection” I would love to hear what folks think of it so far.

I have danced with the devil and flirted with sin
As I did what ever it took to fit in
Only to learn that I am destined to never win
So now it is clear that it all must end
For it is time for my resurrection

                              Back to where I begun
When I was proud of what I had done
Standing tall even if it meant I was the only one
Not giving in as I resisted the temptations of sin
For I am in need of that resurrection

                              For the demons have come
And my world has slowly become undone
With the only hope of salvation
                              Being found in my resurrection.
