The darkest story I have ever written, Return to Castle Night. This short story leades into Return to Castle Night Wolf.

    The Lost of a Lover

    By JJ

As the sun rose into the sky, the rage of a father could be heard through out the household. A secret that was never spoken of was uncovered. Angel heard her father’s voice and was scared of what he may do to her secret lover. She didn’t want her lover to die; after all she is carrying his child. She sat in her room waiting for her father to yell at her. Then he would find her lover and kill him on the spot. Her door to her room flew open and standing in the doorway was her father with a disappointed look on his face.

Her father was tall with long following hair, yellow eyes, and a temper that can not be define. Angel looks at the floor of her room as he approached her. He let out a heavy sigh, “Is it true, did you get pregnant by one of my men?” She looked up at him, “Yes, father.” His eyes became fill with rage, “Who did this to you? Was it Sergeant William, if it was; I’m going to kill him!” Angel shook her head, “No. It wasn’t Sergeant William. It was your Commanding Sergeant Major Alex Dilamore.” Her father gives her a confused look, “What?”

Angel fell before him, “It was Alex Dilamore, but please don’t kill I love and I need him to bring our child into this world. Please, father. Don’t kill him.” He kneels down to her, “Does he love you back?” Angel had tears running down her face, “Yes, we are secretly engage.” Her father’s anger melted away, “You’re engage and you didn’t tell me?” She hugs him tightly, “Because I didn’t know how you would take the news.”

The moon was full and the scene was playing over and over in Angel’s head as tears ran down her face. She ran through the forest with fear run through out her whole body. She was running away from her mother and father, because she feared for her life and child’s. A masked female killed her lover in front of her eyes. On top of that she was being case by assassins. Not only that, she was now six months into her pregnancy. There was too much fear and stress coming at her all at once.

As Angel got deep into the forest she started to get lost. Angel hid with the shadows and anywhere else she could fit. She finally got far enough away from her home, then started to slow and calm down. She knew that this was too much for her child to handle. Her child would never be born and this is what she feared the most. She sat under a tree and looked at the night sky, “Why is this happening to me?” She closes her eyes and started to cry, she thought her life would end in this forest.

Bells rang loud through out Castle Night Wolf; it was the wedding of the princess to the Commanding Sergeant Major of Shobeck’s army. The king and queen where there as well as the whole army and citizens of Castle Night Wolf. Shobeck walked Angel down the aisle with a big smile on his face. He was happy that his only child was getting married and he was going be a grandparent. He was also happy that his daughter picked an intelligent man to be her husband. He was gaining a great son in-law, even though he was going to kill him when he found out about them, but he was letting it go for now. It was his daughter’s wedding and nothing could ruin this special moment.

The wedding march filled the air, as Angel reached the altar. Alex stood there in his tuxedo with a smile. He reached out to her and took her paw into his. The minister looks at them, “We are gathered here today to bring Alex Dilamore and Angel Shobeck together in holy matrimony.” The minister takes out a scroll, “If anyone has any rejections or any reason why this two shall not be married will be kill by the king, if the groom does not take his daughter as his only wife in sickness and health. Through richness and poorness, the groom also will be killed by the king himself.” The minister puts the scroll down, “Now then, do you Alex Dilamore take Angel Shobeck as your wife?” Alex looks at the minister, “After hearing what will happen to me if I don’t say yes, I don’t think I have much of a choice.” A loud gasp by the witnesses echoed through out the church.

Shobeck gives an evil look at Alex. Alex laughed uncomfortably, “I was only kidding.” Angel leads over to him, “You’re digging your grave just to let you know.” Alex shrugged his shoulders, “I know and to answer your question, yes I do take her as my wife. My only wife.” The minister turns to Angel, “Do you Angel Shobeck take Alex Dilamore as your husband?” Angel looks at Alex, “I do.” The minister raises his arms, “In the power that is invested in me, I pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.” Alex leads over to Angel and gives her a long kiss on the month.

Angel touched her lips and remembering how her husband’s kiss felt. She wiped her eyes, “I beg the higher powers, if this is my last night alive. Please take my child now.” A sudden pain went through her body. She grabbed her stomach and screamed in pain. Her screamed echoed through out the forest. She notices that she started to bleed, “No, not now.” Her breathing got heavier and the pains in her stomach got worst.

She was losing her child and there was noting she could do about it. Tears ran down her face as she pulled a little body from under her. She all knew what it was. Angel grabbed a sharp rock and cut the umbilicord. She looks at her lifeless baby, “I’m ready to join you, my child.” She lays her dead baby on the ground, as she heard heavy footsteps getting closer to her. She raised her arms over her head, “If you’re going to kill me let me see your faces as my last request.”

Four men in all back stepped into the opening. One man was a wolf, while the others where bobcats. The wolf pulled off his mask and Angel gasped. The wolf take that was about to take her life was her husband’s best friend. Angel looked at him, “Why are you doing this, Max?” Max looked at the ground, “I can’t answer that your highness.” He raises his gun at her, “I could only tell you that your death will be short and painless.”

The sound of a rifle going could be heard. Max fell back as blood flew out of his head. The three men left standing pulled out their guns, when they did this; six rifles went off. All three men hit the ground and where dead. Angel looks behind her and she saw a male Alaskan Husky sitting up in a tree with a sniper rifle. Fear ran through her as he climbed down the tree. The husky walks towards her, “Are you ok?”

Angel couldn’t answer him was because she in shock. She heard a lot of bad things about the rebel army. She though that this husk would kill her, if he knew who she was. She fell to her knees, “If you’re going to kill me, do it now.” The husky tilts his head, “Why would I want to kill you?” Angel looks at him with tears running down her face, “Because I’m form Castle Night Wolf.” The husk puts his paw out, “I won’t kill because you’re form Castle Night Wolf. I’m JJ Husk by the way. Sorry for not killing those men earlier, but since they are dead, now. It’s going to be ok, every thing will be ok.” JJ helps her back to her feet and leads her away from the dead bodies.

And so begins our journey, back to Castle Night Wolf and Kilmarty...

          Chapter One

          The Trail of a Hero

          Part 1 of 3

News spread that most famous wrestler of the Champaign Wrestling Entertainment (C.W.E), was convicted of murder. The wrestler’s name was Kamen Musha, his past was all in mystery. No one has ever seen his face, but his fiancée. The evidence they use to convict him; show that Miss Cathy Kimberly Packerson, his fiancée, has kill by a massive impact to her skull, Kamen Musha was mostly know for his head crusher. On top of this they found his fingerprints on her body and some of his D.N.A was on her as well. For the first time in American history, this was an open and shut case, even though Kamen admit his indicants.

The death penalty was given to him. He was going to be killed by space, since lethal injection was finally banned. He would be sent into space on a faulty space pod. This space is suppose to implode when it reached Mars. This was redeemed humane until the year 2130; this would be the last time someone can get the death penalty. After this day, on Kamen’s rolling, there would be no more death penalty, only life in prison.

Kamen would be the last convicted criminal to get this punishment. They prepare him for his last meal and his last time to be alive. They put guards on posted at his cell for suicide watch. As the morning raised up, Kamen was led on his death march, unlike the convicted before him in the early years, when they had to so a NASA launch pad, they build a private launch pad two miles away from the State prison. The fans of Kamen disown him and started to believe he actually killed his fiancée. He continued to admit his indicants, and the only man that believed him was Peter E. Lunoise.

He was a professor of genetics and has some knowledge in rocket science. Peter was his manger since his genetics project fail. Peter believed in his indicants, this is why he sabotaged the fault space pod. He would hopefully help his client to escape his impending death. He knows that he will be found out, but by then it will be too late. He had a plan to escape to Mexico, while his government looks for him.

Kamen was order to remove his mask, but kept it on; since the guards that tired to remove his mask in court and failed at attempting to remove his mask. They wouldn’t try again; they shove him into the pod and prepare to lunch him into space. As the faulty pod launched into space, Peter ran for the Mexican boarder. As the pod passes the moon and headed towards Mars, it turned off course. The warning lights went off and alarms sounded as the pod turns back around, but unfortunately a wormhole open; before the Armed Forces of United States could shot the pod down. The pod went into the wormhole and out of range of fire and manual over ride self-destruction.

CIA automatically went out to look for Peter, Kamen’s manger. As they tired to hunt him and put him on trail. As the pod flew through the wormhole, alarms went off and lights flashed. Kamen had no idea what was going on and prepare for the worst. He closed his eyes and prayed to God. This is his time to die; I would at lease be right with the right person. At lease this is what he thought, he didn’t know that this was not part of how he should have died.

His pod fell through the wormhole, and he didn’t really know if he was going to die or live. He would be the first person to travel through a wormhole. Unfortunately this moment in history would never be recorded. His pod starts to shake was it headed towards the end of the wormhole. This was the moment of truth, he would find out if he would live or die. There was a sudden jerk as the pod exited the wormhole. There was a flash of light in his face, and time seemed to slow down. He thought he was going to die and this was his end.

          To be continue…

                Chapter One

                The Things to Come

                Part 2 of 3

Deep within the walls of Castle NightWolf, King Shobeck was not happy to hear that his daughter was missing. The king gases over his massive kingdom, “The rebel army has something to do with this, I can tell.” His queen walks up to him slowly, “My lord, we’ll find her and make the ones that took her, pay.” Shobeck rest his hand on the rail of the balcony, “My queen, I hope you’re right, for this world’s stake.”

Meanwhile deep within the forest of Kilmarty, JJ Husk led Angel Shobeck into the secret encampment of the rebel army. Elite guards of Lieutenant Coronal Jenny Redwind stopped him. He lowers his eyes at them; the guards had their guns pointed at him and Angel. He growls towards them, “What’s the meaning of this? I’m a Sergeant First Class of this army.” A female voice came from behind the guards, “I doubt that sometimes, Husk.” The husky looks up to see his commander, “Lieutenant Coronal!”

Jenny had her arms crossed under her chest looking hard at her Sergeant, “I sent you out for a re-con, not no a search and rescue mission, Husk.” JJ kept on holding Angel, “She was in danger, and she needed help. She was going to be killed by Shobeck’s soldiers. Would you rather let me, leave her to die at the hands of Shobeck, when so many all ready died at his hands, ma’am?” Jenny raises an eyebrow at JJ, “Are you talking back to me, Husk? Guards...” Before she could give the command to fire, a strong elder voice shouted, “ENOUGH!” Jenny and the guards looked back to see General Caldwell Redwind.

The old general looks at them, “This is not the way to run an army of any kind.” Jenny parts her lips, “But father, I mean sir.” Caldwell’s eyebrow twitched, “Silence!” He slowly walks towards them, “Even though, the Lieutenant Coronal, is correct, Sergeant First Class, you made the right choice to save this young lady. Take her to the medics and get to your post.” JJ saluted him, “Yes, sir.” Caldwell saluted back and JJ took Angel to the M.A.S.H unit that was on base.

Caldwell turns and looks at Jenny, “Don’t be so edgy with the Sergeant, he meant well, Lieutenant Coronal.” Jenny was about to say something smart-ass, but decides to walk away. Caldwell sighs to himself and he looks towards the M.A.S.H unit tent. He thought to himself, “I know I can’t all ways save JJ Husk’s ass, maybe in time he will actually learn to fallow my daughter’s orders.” He walks towards the command post and sighs again. He knew in the near future his daughter will do something great, but he also knew her short temper might get her killed before she gets to do the great thing that sets her name in Kilmarty’s history.

Meanwhile back at Castle NightWolf, Shobeck’s two Elite snipers where summon. Their names where Smoke and Demon Trigger. Smoke stands there with dark sunglasses and gray helmet with a red line running on the back of it that stopped near his ears with the word Smoke in all caps and bold print at the front of his helmet. Shobeck looked at the two snipers; “I need you two to track down my daughter and kill those who have her.” Smoke lets out a puff of smoke and replies in a mono-tune voice, “As you command, my lord.” Demon Trigger smiles evilly as he loads his rifle, “I am glad your highness is allowing me to kill again.”

Smoke and Demon Trigger where together by Shobeck’s order, because he knows of how deadly they both can be. Smoke is the only wolf Shobeck knows that strikes with out a sound. Demon Trigger was just plan crazy for being crocodile. He has killed many soldiers; he has killed his own teammates. Shobeck knows that if Demon Trigger gets too insane, Smoke will kill him without a second thought. Shobeck walks away from them, “Bring my daughter back in one piece and alive, or I will take both of your lives.” Smoke and Demon Trigger nod their heads and started to head out of Castle Night Wolf.

Unaware to everybody in the castle, Shobeck was being watched by someone, an old elite sniper from the first rebel army, Shobeck defeated. Shobeck knew he was being watch as he looks up towards the pillars in the hallway he was walking in, “So you still live, chameleon.” The chameleon jumps down with his dagger withdrawn. He still had his old uniform and even his old helmet with the faded words, Phantom, on his helmet. He was a soldier that was a trader in Shobeck’s eyes, when he fought for the remaining soldiers of Castle Da Franco. Phantom clenches his dagger; “I live, barely. I have been in hiding for a long time, Shobeck. I am here to bring you down and expose you for the evilness in this world.”

Shobeck laughs and smiles at Phantom, “You still haven’t learned, have you, Phantom. Unlike those you have killed so many years ago, I am different; I am a force you shouldn’t mess with. This rebel army that has risen up against me now, will fall, and the rebel army after them, all Kilmarty belongs to me, maybe the next rebel army will see this and won’t even fight me.” Phantom charges forward and Shobeck quickly withdrew his short sword. Shobeck blocks his attack, “Fool, you really think you can defeat me?” Phantom pushed against Shobeck’s sword, “Even if I can’t, I rather die trying.” Shobeck smiles evilly, “Have it your way.” Before Phantom could react, he was hit by dark magic energy.

Shobeck looks at him with his left-hand stretched out; “I have power that no one can with stand. This is where you shall die, Phantom, or should I say…” Before he could say another word, there was an explosion. Shobeck looks toward where it came from, “What in the hell is going on, the rebel army doesn’t have anything to cause an explosion like that.” He looks back where Phantom was and seen he was gone. Shobeck growl and turns around. He walks towards where the explosion came from. He reaches a balcony and looks over his kingdom.

Shobeck saw a ship out side the walls of Castle NightWolf. He thinks deeply, “What is that thing. The rebel army has nothing like that.” He sees his soldiers run out and ran towards the ship. Shobeck yells out towards his soldiers, “What ever is in that thing, bring it to me!” One of the leaders yelled back, “Yes, sir!” Shobeck clenched the balcony’s edge, “Where did it come from, how can something like that come from the skies, was it an attack? I will have my answers soon.” Shobeck watched as his soldiers reached the ship.

At the crash site of the ship, there was fire and sparks of electricity. The soldier started to through dirt on the fire, as other soldiers gather the fire fighters of Castle Night Wolf. When the fire was finally put out, the soldiers saw a hatch and started to work on the hatch to open it. Two hours pass, before they finally where able to open the hatch. Air rushed out of the ship. They saw a creature they never seen before. It had some body features like them, but the face of this creature was different, this was so new to them.

They notice the creature was bonded by one hand, as the other hand was almost pulls off of the creature’s arm. Medics rushed to the site as the soldiers raced against time to break the metal cuffs that where holding the creature down. It only took less then 15 minutes before they could remove the creature from the ship. Two soldiers held him as the medics brought a stretcher over to carry the wounded creature. They heard a single word expect the creature’s mouth, “Lunoise...” The soldiers and medics looked at each other and wonder why the creature said that name.

The medics stop what bleeding they could as they rushed the creature to Castle Night Wolf’s hospital. Shobeck was brought to the hospital where they brought the creature. As he waited to see what has come to his world, the surgeons try to do the best they could to save this creature. When they finally notice the creature was wearing a mask they try to take it off, but they were stop by the creature, when he grabbed the doctor’s arm, “Don’t take off the mask…” The creature let go of the doctor’s hand and fainted again on the operating table. The doctor was not going to risk the creature waking up again and left the mask on its face.

Two hours went by before the doctor step out of the operating room and sees his leader. Shobeck looked over to the doctor as he asked; “Did it live?” The doctor was a little scared as he answered, “The creature did live and it’s in a room right now, I’m not sure if it is…” Shobeck pushed the doctor out of the way and starts to walk, “Just give me its room number.” The doctor didn’t try to stop him as he replies, “Room 213, sir.” Shobeck heads upstairs towards the room the doctor told him about. The doctor signs as he walks towards his office.

Shobeck reaches the room and walks up to the bed where the creature lied. The creature was kind of conscious. Shobeck stood over the creature, “Who sent you and what are you?” The creature mumbles some as it tried to get his vision back. Shobeck growls some, as he knew he couldn’t get an answer of the creature. Shobeck stomps out of the room and grabs a nurse that walked by him, “Tell me when the creature has full consciousness.” The nurse nods and Shobeck lets the nurse go, as he walks out.

With in the woods of Kilmarty Smoke and Demon Trigger where trying to track down Angel. Smoke lets out a puff of smoke from his muzzle and looks at Demon Trigger. His ears twitch some as he warned his partner in his monotone voice, “We are not alone.” Smoke clenches his rifle as Demon Trigger looked around the woods, “Where is the enemy Smoke, let me at them.” Smoke was about to say something as he quickly blocks Phantom’s blade with his rifle. Smoke’s straight face expression turned into a small smirk. He has never fought a sniper that moved so fast like Phantom. Phantom jumps back and clenches his dagger, “So you most be Smoke, rumors about you seem true.”

Smoke moves his cigarette from one side of his muzzle to the other side of his muzzle, “It seems to be that way.” The two snipers respected each other, though they both couldn’t see each other’s, because Phantom had a dark tinted visor and Smoke with his dark tinted sunglasses; they both knew that they would fight with most respect. Suddenly Demon Trigger charges at Phantom, with lighting speed he counter Demon trigger by cutting across his left eye. Phantom speed made Demon Trigger drop his guard and lose his clench on his rifle. There was a loud thundering rifle shot in the air. Demon Trigger bleeds and fell to the ground.

Smoke lets out another puff of smoke out of his muzzle as he spoke with his monotone voice; “Shame, Demon Trigger was good at what he did. It looks like he has finally met his match.” Phantom picks up ammo from Demon Trigger’s belt and turn to Smoke. There was a silence between the two. The scene between the two was like an old western stand off, but the two elite snipers knew better. Phantom quickly fires at Smoke. With speed that out classed Phantom, Smoke dodges the bullet and fires at Phantom.

Phantom was already gone when Smoke fire. Smoke re-locks his rifle’s bolt as he knew it wasn’t over. Phantom voice echoed from all sides of Smoke, “I have to emit that you are very good Smoke.” Phantom’s voice came right behind him, “Just not good enough.” There was a sudden sound of a gun going off. Phantom stumbles backwards as he bled. He was in shook at how fast Smoke countered him.

Smoke tosses his used cigarette to the ground and takes out a new one. As he lights his new cigarette he spoke in his cold monotone voice, “You shouldn’t talk so much. You should have just shot me.” Smoke turns and walks away as he picked up Angel’s scent. Phantom clenched his wound and was confused on why Smoke didn’t finish him off. Phantom looks around to see where Smoke walk to, but Smoke was already gone. Phantom slowly stands up as he clenches his wound; “I will make sure you die for this, Smoke.”

Smoke was deep in the forest of Kilmarty, as he lost the sent of Angel. Smoke looks around some as he tosses his use cigarette to the ground. He turns around and starts heading back towards Castle NightWolf. As he traveled, he thought to himself, “Since the sent of my princess stops in sector 10 beta, maybe my lord will be happy on hearing this, or maybe not.” Smoke slowly reaches Castle NightWolf, unaware to him, just missed a crashing of a ship from space.

Smoke runs through the castle’s city as he heads towards the main castle’s gates. He noticed that the wall towards the West Side of the castle city most of the wall was gone. To his knowledge, the rebels couldn’t have done that. He finally reaches the thrown room. Shobeck looks at Smoke displeased as he notices he didn’t have his daughter with him. He didn’t care what happen to Demon Trigger as he stood up, “Smoke, you better have a damn good reason to be here without my daughter.”

Smoke bows before answering in his monotone voice, “My lord, I lost tack of her when I was in sector 10 beta. Seems who ever took your daughter, knew how to cover their tracks. But I believe in the reports of rebel activity in this sector.” Shobeck wasn’t pleased with this, but knew killing Smoke won’t do anything. Smoke was the only soldier in Shobeck’s army to never show fear or any other type of emotions. Now in the moment to see if Shobeck was going to kill him or not, Smoke stood there with his straight face and no emotion of fear or nothing else.

                    ____________

Shobeck clenches his hands, “Leave my sight Smoke, your information is good enough to keep you alive.” A doctor burst through the thrown room’s doors, “My lord, the creature has fully awaken!” Shobeck stares towards the doctor as Smoke said, “Creature, my lord?” Shobeck looks at Smoke, “You heard right, you should accompany to come see for yourself.” Smoke bows slightly and begins to fallow Shobeck along with the doctor. Smoke places a fresh cigarette into his mouth, but doesn’t light it.

Meanwhile back at the rebel base, Phantom barely made it to the main entrance. The guards at the gate aim their rifles towards him, before yelled, “Halt!” Phantom looks up at the guards; “I don’t have time for this. My name is Phantom, rank of Second Lieutenant. General Caldwell knows who I am. I fought by his side in the last war.” The guards looked at Phantom, “How to do we know it isn’t a trick?” Phantom pulls out his dagger and tosses it at them. One of the guards caught the dagger and notices the markings.

Before the guard could hand back the dagger to Phantom, he had fainted in front of them. Both guards rushed over to him then picked him up. They held him up as they rushed over towards the M.A.S.H unit. When they got their, Angel was about to leave. She saw Phantom and knew who he was. She quickly gathers her things and stepped out, before Phantom could see her.

Angel made sure that she bagged her medicine the doctor gave her, before leaving. Angel made it out side as two guards with Phantom ran past her. The guards laid Phantom on an empty bed, as one spoke to one of the head doctors, “This is Phantom. He is in need of medical attention. We have to go report this to the general. Don’t remove his helmet or open his visor, his identity is only known by the general. That’s the way, it should be.” The guards took off to tell the general, as the doctors started to work on Phantom.

Angel looks back at the medical tent as she sees two guards run out and towards the command post. Angel thought they where told about who she really was. She started to run towards the gate, but she ran right into JJ Husk who was on portal. Angel screams slightly as she stumbled back. Before she could fall, JJ caught her. JJ helps her to regain her balance; “You seem in a hurry, what’s wrong?” Angel looks at JJ as she panics some, “I can’t tell you, please just help me.”

JJ blinks some at Angel, “Calm down, ok. You are safe here, it is dangerous out side these gates.” Angel shakes her head, “You don’t understand once your command officer finds out about me. I will be killed.” JJ looks over her as he sees the general pulling up to the medical tent. He looks back towards Angel, “Look, there is my commanding officer now, and he seems to more interest in the medical tent then you. No offense.” Angel looks back towards the medical tent. She was still in fear, as she thought his commanding officer might find out and kill her.

General Caldwell steps into the tent as he noticed the doctors’ patch up the wounds Phantom had. The general walks over to him, “Hey there old friend.” Phantom turns his head towards him, “Hi, Caldwell, been a long time. Seem the years caught up with you.” Caldwell laughs, “Yes they had, and it seems the report of your death was false. Also seems someone finally got the upper hand on you.” Phantom smirks some; “Yea, but they will pay.” Caldwell sighs some, “Well, it is good to see you alive, my friend.” Phantom nodded in agreement.

The general steps out of the medical tent and drove back to the command post, as two Military Police ran past Angel and JJ to go protect the entrance. JJ looks back at Angel, “See, you had nothing to fear. There are some citizens from Castle NightWolf that live here, so you being from there won’t get you killed. Now, how about if I treat you to dinner?” Angel steps a way from JJ, “No, I will past this time.” Angel walked off towards the cafeteria. JJ rubs the back of his head as he watches Angel walk off. He sighs softly as he spoke to himself, “So beautiful and yet so hard to understand.”

Back in Castle NightWolf, Shobeck and Smoke walked into the room where the creature from space was being kept. Shobeck looks at the creature, “Welcome to Castle NightWolf here on Kilmarty. You where given the best treatment by my finest doctors. I am Shobeck, king of all of Kilmarty. Who are you and who sent you here?” The creature looks at Shobeck and knew he wasn’t on his home planet anymore, “My name is.” He thinks for a second, “Is Mask Hero. I am from Earth, and no one sent me here. It was kind of an accident that I ended up here.” Shobeck’s eyebrow raises slightly, “Mask Hero?”

Mask Hero nods, “Yes. It was a name given to me by the skills and performance I have shown over the years. As well as being a hero back on my home world.” He was lying through his teeth and hopes that Shobeck or no one else would catch onto this. Shobeck claps his hands together twice; “Guards bring Mask Hero with us. We have many things to do to get him to be a legal Kilmartian.” The guards nod and walked over to Mask Hero to help him out of his hospital bed. Mask Hero slowly gets to his feet, “Why are you going to make me one of your citizens here?” Shobeck places his hand behind his back, “Because that ship you where on isn’t in any condition to send you back from where you come from, so as the ruler of this planet I should make you one of my subjects. That way you can show me how you got your name, by fighting by my armies’ side.” Mask Hero nodded, “Very well, it is the lease I can do for you, since you saved my life.”

As this conversion was going on, Smoke was standing near the door listening in. He stood there with unlighted cigarette in his mouth as well as with his arms crossed. He was leaning against the wall. He was only there because Shobeck order him to come. He didn’t really want anything to do with Mask Hero. He honestly just didn’t care; he just stood there waiting to leave. He lets out a sigh, “Things I am order to do, I could have been looking for my lord’s daughter, but I am here in stead.”

Shobeck exited the room with Mask Hero. Smoke turns his head to see the two stepped out. Mask Hero was still in his hospital gown as he stood there in front of Smoke. Shobeck signals to Smoke to start walking, he does as Shobeck talks to Mask Hero more. Shobeck places a hand on the shoulder of Mask Hero, “You are going to love it here, we have the most advance medical treatments and our technology is advancing everyday.” Masks Hero was just nodding his head until he got out side and saw the world he crashed on. He saw how everything on this planet made Earth look like it was stuck in the 90s. The buildings themselves seem to be about the late 1900s, but the vehicles seem to be out of place because their hover design and no exhaust of smoke of any kind.

Shobeck lead Mask Hero towards the castle, which wasn’t that far from the hospital. Smoke lights his cigarette as he stepped out of the hospital. He saw one of Shobeck’s generals run up to him. The general caught his breath before saying, “My lord, we found them, the rebels. We manage to figure out where they where from Smoke’s report.” Shobeck grins, “Excellent news. Smoke, I want you to lead the attack on the rebel base, and crush them.” Mask Hero felt something wrong about this, but he really didn’t know what was going on completely. Mask Hero watched Smoke take Shobeck’s order and ran towards the castle.

Shobeck clenched his hand and looks at Mask Hero, “This is the day I have been waiting for. I have to tell you something; you need to know about the rebels. They want to dethrone me and destroy what I have made. They want to disturb the peace that has come, they are evil.” He was manipulating the truth and filling Mask Hero’s mind with lies. Mask Hero felt something wasn’t right, but ignored this feeling. The simple fact why he was ignoring this is because his father trusted that same feeling he was getting and left him. He swore to never trust himself, because he didn’t want to become his father, he didn’t want to become a hero of any kind.

Meanwhile at the front gates of Castle NightWolf, Smoke had gathered a small battalion of 500 soldiers. He was briefing them about where they where about to go and what they are about to do. He was almost done when Sergeant First Class Alicia ran up to Smoke, “Sir, I need to give you this, just read the letter, sir.” She hands over a letter with General Fredwick’s seal on it. Smoke opens the letter and begins to read it. He looks up to Alicia, “Take me to the General, Sergeant.” Alicia nods, “Very well, sir. Follow me.”

Smoke follows Alicia to General Fredwick’s office. He lets out heavy puff of smoke from his muzzle showing he wasn’t too happy with the general. Alicia stops Smoke before entering the build that house the general’s office, “Wait here, sir.” Smoke waits at the front door for twenty minutes before Alicia return, “Come in, sir.” Smoke sighed some before entering the building. He enters the building and was greeted by the sight of General Fredwick. He moves his cigarette to the other side of his mouth, “Sir, you dare stop me from my job? When I am close to reveal the secret base of the rebel army.” The general laughs, “You dare question my orders, Smoke. You are only a lieutenant; you have no true power. I sent a message to our lord, to inform him, that you are only to go out on a wild goose chase and he let me give the order to stop you.” Smoke steps closer to him, “You really shouldn’t mess with me, general. I will remember this and get pay back on you.” General Fredwick replies, “Is that treason I hear from you?” Smoke turns around and walks out, “No, sir…”

Smoke went back to the group of soldiers he gathered. He looks at all of them, “Looks like our General Fredwick has decided to order me to not investigate the woods with man power of any kind. So all of you are… Dismiss!” He salutes them, the group of soldiers saluted and walked away from him. He places his hands on his sides and looks towards the forest, “I know you are out there some where. I will find all of you and destroy your rebel force.” Smoke took his cigarette out of his mouth and flicks it to the ground before walking back to his post within the castle. He wasn’t happy and he needed something to take his mind off of what just happen.

Meanwhile back at the rebel’s camp, Lady Sarina Lunoise, or better know as Lady Lunoise, made her way to the main gate. She smiles at the guards there as they stopped her. “I am here to see the general, gentlemen.” She told them in a Southern accent, her long bell shape one piece dress made her look like a Southern Bell. The guards looked at her, “Ma’am, we can’t let you through this way for security issues.” Lady Lunoise sighed softly, “This is very important information for the ears of the general, gentlemen. I have to tell him. Let me through this gate right now, gentlemen. Or you will have to answer to General Caldwell himself. So please let me through, gentlemen.”

The guards held their ground, “We can’t do that, miss. You should leave and return with proper papers to pass.” Lady Lunoise clenched her umbrella, “I’ll show you, proper papers.” She hit the guard closer to her in the nuts. The second guard was in shock with what he just saw. Before he could react, she whacked the second guard in the groin. As the two guards lay on the ground in pain, five near by Military Police surround her with their guns aimed at her. She was not happy about being surrounded by the M.P.s. She heard a familiar voice shouting, “WAIT! THAT’S THE GENERAL’S CONACT!” This voice belonged to JJ Husk.

JJ Husk caught his breath and smiled at Lady Lunoise, “Nice to see you again, Lady Lunoise.” The M.P.s saluted her, “We didn’t know that you where Lady Lunoise, ma’am.” Lady Lunoise walks over to JJ, “Now you know, gentlemen. Remember to tell it to these gentlemen on the ground.” The M.P.s nodded, as JJ lead her towards the general’s office. As they both where out of site the M.P.s helped the two guards on the ground to their office, which was about 5 feet away from the gate.

JJ laughed some, “I can’t believe you did that, Lady Lunoise.” She looks at him, “Well sometimes this southern flower can have some thorns.” He continues to laugh and shakes his head some. As they reached the general’s office, JJ looks at Lady Lunoise, “I will leave you now. I hope you don’t have another problem, Lady Lunoise.” She nods, “I hope so too, JJ.” Lady Lunoise watches JJ walk away, before she entered the general’s office. She smiles as enters the building and looks over to the secretary of the general. The secretary looks up at Lady Lunoise, “Hello, miss. Do you have an appointment?” Lady Lunoise nods, “I really don’t. I have important information for the general.” The secretary blinks some, “You won’t happen to be, Lady Lunoise, would you?” She nods, “That would be me. So, if you would so kind to get the general, I would appreciate it.”

The secretary nods and pushed the intercom that was connected to the general’s office, “General Caldwell, Lady Lunoise is here to see you.” The general opened his door, “Come in, Miss Lunoise.” She walks into the general’s office as Caldwell held the door open. He closes the door as she sits down. He walks over to his desk, “What brings you here today, Miss Lunoise?” Lady Lunoise crossed her legs before replying back, “I am here to tell you, that Shobeck found a creature. I find out that he is going to have this creature fight on his side. Also, general, Smoke was close to bringing a small battalion of soldiers here.” He places his elbows on his desk as he lends forward, “What stopped him?” Lady Lunoise smiled some, “You’re inside man.” Caldwell reclines back, “I have no inside man, Miss Lunoise.” She looks at him with a smile, “Sure you don’t, general.” She stands up, “I will excuse myself now, general.”

Lady Lunoise opened the door and then looks back, “See you in a month, general.” She walks out and closes the door behind her. General Caldwell cracked his knuckles some, “How did she find out?” He stands up and goes to his office window, “If she found out, then it will be only a short time, Shobeck finds out. All out war is about to come onto this camp. I have to move all the civilians to Mt. Carson.” There was a knock at the general’s door. He looks back the door, “Enter.” His daughter comes in and salutes, “Sir, I am here to request if I can be transferred to Mt. Caron.” He sighs then sits down, “Request denied, Lieutenant Colonel. Only because all out war is about to happen and I am going to move all civilians to Mt. Carson. I need you to help them pack up and get to the peck. Then you report back here with 15,000 soldiers from Mt. Carson. We have to be prepare and be more on guard then ever.” Jenny salutes him, “Yes, sir. Right a way, sir.” General Caldwell saluted back and Jenny leaves his office.

Jenny made her way from the general’s office to the M.P.s’ post next to the main entrance. Jenny enters the post of the M.P.s, “Alright, we have to get the civilians from here to Mt. Carson. This is an order from General Caldwell. So let’s get moving.” The M.P.s saluted her. “Yes, ma’am!” they shouted. Four of the five M.P.s followed Jenny as one stayed behind. He get on the loud speakers, “Attention…Attention all civilians. Gather your possessions and proceed to the south gate where you will be informed about this move. I repeat. All civilians must gather their possessions and proceed to the south gate. That is all.”

As the civilians of the base gather their things, General Caldwell was putting on his battle uniform. He sighs some before asking his secretary to come in and take down his orders. He wasn’t to sure what to expect, but he knew he had to get his troops ready to move out. He wanted to strike Castle Night Wolf, before Shobeck’s army can strike them. He finishes giving his orders to his secretary, and then he grabs his helmet, “I want you save, so give these written orders to Jenny. After that I want you to go to Mt. Carson.” She nods and does as she is told. General Caldwell took in a deep breath, “Please guide us to victory, Ranpu.”
