            Nafruf:
Of course! I learned to draw footwear correctly since few artists, regardless of ability seem to be able (or bother to). Another thighboot pic follows (I thought I had already posted it here, but now I remember that I only linked to it while describing to another artist here how high heels should look)

            cheetah:
Thanks much! That means a lot coming from the head honcho here I can only imagine how it will look when I get around to x-rated stuff

            MangaManX:
Yep, the earrings are pretty much the only throwback to the character's origins--most of them were created in the 1980's, and they were designed to wear practically anything remotedly familiar to the average person, so as fashions changed, so did their attire.

Of course this one was intended for maximum titillation potential while being fully clothed, although I (and I'm sure many others) could imagine her doing something wearing only those boots

Not related the the Valentine's "sporting red" theme, but containing another impressivley tall pair of boots, is this art trade I did in 2004 with a VCL artist of his witch-cat character "Claire".

Artwork is somewhat not quite as advanced, but it has it's own list of artistic firsts for me, like it being a night scene, with backlighting on the character.

                Wow...your work is just...wow.

Your artwork is very nice and...I can't think of the word...but it has a uniqueness to it. Nevertheless, I do look forward to seeing more of your work.

By the way, you know the way to a wuffie's heart....just love them sexy fem furs, RR.

Thanks I've not seen a style similar to mine anywhere in the fandom. It's not impossible--I have a pic in one of my sketchbooks of a couple of my characters done by "J3T", and she got them quite on-model, but no one so far has developed a similar style. I think maybe it's cause my style developed long before I knew there was a fandom for anthropomorphic animals, and thus was not influenced by any of the existing artists.

It's been so long since I looked at the opening post in this thread, that I thought it's in need of some revisions. Rather than rewrite history by editing the post, I'll list the updates/corrections here:

--Obviously not all these characters are mine--"Pookie"and "Geisha" (on the first page) are the creations of Dustbunny. "Claire" (on the second) is the creation of Toshi-Kun.

--Rather than saying as a matter of policy I don't draw other people's characters without a direct invitation, let's just say that I'm not yet accustomed to doing unsolicited artwork (fanart/giftart) of other folks' characters, even though there are a lot of characters out there (here too) that I'd like to try my hand at.

Isnt it strange how the first posts kinda get lost into infinity unless you really go back and study them, its weird.

Here's something I did for a contest dreamed up by FurAffinity/DeviantArt artist ZinaCat.

The concept was to draw her character Tristan interacting with one of your own. Aand, music was supposed to be in there somewhere if ya could fit it in. My entry scored first runner up, with Cynthia doing the honors.

Noteworthy here is the use of colored lineart throughout the pic. First time doing it, owing to discovery of a technique that made it a lot easier. More info at this pic's location on FurAffinity.

Adding to the thread, a new pic that took about a couple of days work. It's inspired by "Butt-A-Butt", a tune on the George Clinton & the P-Funk All Stars album "How Late Do You Have 2BB4UR Absent?".

More info at this pic's location on FurAffinity.

Aaaand one more shot of Tina, this time with the shoes she was supposed to be wearing in the buttshot pic above. More info at this pic's location on FurAffinity.

Sometimes I scare myself with abrupt improvements that seem to come from nowhere
