Been a lurking Scarlet fan for awhile now and would like to praise Jive Guru on all his drawings. Great stuff man! Big fan of the MS Paint style actually! To me it's got a really cool look to it. Is anyone else feeling it or is it just me?

Anyways what prompted me to speak up was Cheetah's last post to dnf55. You guys have a wonderful forum going here, it's amazingly laid back and positive. I mean where are all the flame wars? What you have going here is unheard of! Maybe it's that or maybe me feeling dnf55 added to the good atmosphere here but *I* was hurt with Cheetah's reply back there. I wish the suggestion, which in itself wasn't unreasonable (although I've appreciated dnf55's short, light-hearted posts), woulda been put friendlier. it hit me like a brick. I don't think I woulda been bothered with a response like this anywhere else on the internet but, to me at least, this place is special. Though a lurker like me isn't really qualified to say any of this..

what date is that? do you mean this saturday the 26th of Nov, or the first saturday in Dec? i have heard people describe 'next saturday' both ways, isnt english great :P

Thanks tSATYy for the comments, I appriciate that, and just for the record I doubt I'll be giving up MS paint anytime soon, I still like to work with it.

Also, I too enjoy the atmosphere here at these Forums and I try to keep it light in my own thread, but sometimes small things like that happen. You can't really do anything about it because different things annoy different people depending on the day. A lot of the time I see things like the instance noted above and I chalk it up to someone having a bad day.

Though to be honest, I would prefer it if that sort of thing was kept out of this thread in the future.

Dang, that first pic is great. Super nice pose and it's good to see that your actual hand drawing is just as good as your Paint stuffs. Your work always makes me smile and a bit envious too.

Yeah I'd like to appologize to everyone for that, I shouldn't have brought it up in here. I even felt bad just after posting, was a badly judged spur of the moment thing. I'm sorry.

To at least get one post in totally on topic I'll try to explain (to sorta elaborate my last post) what makes Scarlet à la MS Paint special to me. Figuring it out was bloody difficult but I think I got the main reasons pegged:

1. You render her so wickedly well on MS Paint, a program people don't generally expect good stuff to come out of. Big coolness factor there.

2. Seeing the pixels is a distinct style. Kind of a retro thing going heh. 80s is hip now, isn't it?

3. It's what Scarlet looked like when I first saw here back on page 1 In a funny and mostly weird way I think this is the biggest factor for me hehe

That aside, I think Scarlet's looked awesome in all her forays into new mediums. This thread's been alot of fun, loved following it.
