Jive, I've got to agree with you, that brief 'gothic girl' flash is really neat, and it's all rockin' stuff. I'd love to see more of your work any time.

Because camdil's poem was so well-done and well-received, I decided to try my hand as well.
I wrote a little poem about that girl. I hope you like it. It's a little dark (^_^ understatement), but please enjoy.

Shadow-
Black eyes lifted to
Greater sorrow.
Black soul,
A tendril of marionette strings
Flinch her head to the window.
In a capillary,
Flowing red and pure,
Eyes lifted black to greater sorrow.
The pale moon-
Hallowed eve on moonlit streets
Flickers of lights from solitary lamps.
In the corner, glinting-
A razor...

Since I have been a member of this forum even I have been surprised what has inspired me to make my attempts at poetry. I just hope that the many artists here including yourself take any of my attempts at poetry as a show of respect to their originality and creativity.

This is only my first week here, having signed up just hours before Yet Another Birthday of mine (maybe I shoulda waited a couple of hours so I could have a commemorative join date?), but I must say, I've never seen anything quite like this thread in any of the artist communities I've watched. Never have I seen so much fan-art of any one person's creation in one place. And so much of it so well done. And now it's getting into animation too? Not even the commment-driven art sites have this much concentrated community

I seldom do fanart myself, as I decided long ago I wouldn't draw anyone else's character/s without their owners granting permission either directly or via art trade. Still, reading through this thread from the beginning (only took a day and a half) has been an enjoyable trip seeing all the different takes on Scarlet and your other character/s, though I must say that with the addition of these animations, you've created quite a tough act to follow

Yeah, it has slowed down around here recently, but that's just because I havn't put anything new out there in awhile. That will be changing soon though, as I've been feeling the winds of inspiration blowing in my mind...

On the other hand I've been messing around in flash, nothing really to show for it, but I think I might soon start with a serious project.

In the meantime I'll probabaly get a pic up fairly soon, like I said.

Awesome! I seen this work this morning before I left for work over at Playmouse and was quite impressed! I couldn't check here of course, because there was something wacky going on and I couldn't even get here.

Luckily that is fixed now!

Gotta say, It's about time Scarlet got some action, she was getting a little lonely I think. :P

Oh yeah, I wanna post this new pic too. It's nothing big, just a preliminary doodle of a new superhero-type character I might do something with in the future.

I think she might be called "The Milf" or something like that. She's like a Mom who fights crime in her spare time, yeah. Needs work. Before I'm done the concept will probabaly be changed quite a bit as usual with creations by myself.

Actually, Jive Guru...far be it from me to critique this- but you could do ONE BETTER. By this, I mean with this idea: The "M.I.L.F. Squad", a trio of hot moms (like the Powerpuff Gals on crack or something) dedicated to ridding the world of evil while getting cheap thrills (or getting off, whichever cums first!)
