How I wish that were true, but if it were I'd probably have this Section up to about 20-30 pages by now. lol
But I'll get to work on it... a pic every 2 days or so...... you know.... to rest... hmmm... It'll take me about 4 years. So we'll see then huh?
Also to V.Kyrie: If you do post here, I'm sure it will bring the Coolness Ratio up quite a lot! Come on girl - You rock!

Re: GOD she's sexy! Oh, and Joe Randel, HELP!
Originally posted by priest22Joe Randel, I know you sketch over a print like I do, how the HECK do you clean it up so it colors up nicely? You made a freaken fantastic picture of Scarlet!
1- Start with your rough drawing
2- Adjust the Hue/Saturation (ctlr+U) and click the colorize check box. This will bring the colour to one shade and will give it a nice sepia tone.
3- Adjust your curves (ctrl+M). make a point in the center of the line and bring it down so the dark lines beceom darker, but not too dark. We want to keep some of the rough/looseless of the drawing.
4.- If you wanna be fancey, make another layer and turn it to a multiply layer and then do a filter>blur>gaussain blur on that layer. Not too much, I'd say around 2.
5- Make sure both layers are multiply layer and then make a third layer under both of those and slap yer paint on that layer. This will put the colours under the lines. Paint at about 50% - 60% to get a sudo water colour effect.
That's it. Hope that helps.

There's always the negative (inverted), electric fluorescent or psychadelic color approach. It brings an interesting effect to a drawing, although I like the ordeals better on photographs...something in high detail. Either way, it gives pictures a more funky (or freakish) feel. Alterations can be so much fun!! Of course, the original feature is still the best look.

Joe, I can't believe you painted my piccy, thanks man!
Okay, I use PSP, so I Just gotta figure out how to translate what you said into it's way of doing things. Most of it is exactly the same, so it shouldn't be hard
Thanks so much, I have a horrible time trying to color, I can't tell you how much it means to me for the help
*God I sound like a suck up *

Slappy?
I just think it's the mischivious factor in her expression
Man, I just can't get over how cool all this scarlet art is!
Kandlin - VERY nice, now if you could just draw her jeans around her ankles and my face right about ... *cough* ... um, it's a great picture bud! I love your style anyhow, you did her great justice

Being off model doesn't really bother me, I myself can barely keep on model half the time! Doesn't matter anyway, cause the pic is still awesome!
Originally posted by Lizard LickI was taking another look at Kandlin's drawing and noticed the face kinda looks like Slappy Squirrel. It may be just the expression. The drawing is wonderful nonetheless.
Either that, or Alex Delong... classic.
