How about both? A bi-polar squirrel, bet that hasn't been done before. Or hey you could always make them seperate characters. The youngest goody-good who idolizes the oldest(scarlet). And the punk could be the middle child. (marsha marsha marsha-esque dynamic). Or not. Just a few ideas from my sleep deprive stupor. Use 'em. dump 'em. Most of your guys actually like the "Miss Perfect Pants" version, at least the ones who spoke up...

Ha ha, no she's not Bi-polar, but if a story ever was created, I always figure she'd start out os Perfect pants and go through a phase of being the punky one.

What about 'Ruby' being a set of twins? Parents expected one child, were prepared to name her Ruby, only to have identical twins come the big day. Rather than waste such a lovely name, they split it... Rue and Bea (Ruth and Beatrice, respectively). Once they hit their rebellious stage they rebel against being 'twins' and establish their own identities, Rue being a bad-ass punk chick and Bea a sunny and polite good-girl.

Both fantastic! But to put in my little vote in this un official poll: Ruby 01. I like sweet personalities and have been into bright colors (art-wise) for a while now.

what i would imagine would be one of those "double lives" where she's all goody pants to her parents, but when she leaves the house she goes all punk.

both are good, but im more for Punk.

I love her she's so rocking andeither way a nice similarity yet difference to Scarlet.

I'm glad there are people who actually like the character, I was worried in a way I'd get the "Why a sister? Isn't Scarlet good enough? She just feels like a Scarlet clone!! Rant Rant Rant!!"

So I'm glad you guys like her, whichever way I choose to pick, I might make a totally new creation that mixes the two together in the end, like a really friendly happy Goth, like.... hmmm... Lydia, from the Beetlejuice cartoon, only less uh... girl-scouty! :P
