I can work with this. So creator of Ori and the Blind Forest is saying Nintendo is being too secretive about the NX. Sounds like the same problem with the Wii-U.
Yeah, a friend of ours told us (my husband and I) about it yesterday. He said it was basically the Shangri-La bits from Far Cry 4 stretched out into a whole game. He said it had some cool things, but nothing really new. Basically if you're new to Far Cry then it will be a breath of fresh air, but if you're a gaming veteran then this is a mountain you already climbed.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That's why it's called the present.
I sure hope so, because at this point Ubisoft's big three of Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, and anything Tom Clancy are all officially running on fumes and they seriously need some new material and angles. And if Nintendo being the AAA publisher equivalent to social services to take away abused IPs from uncaring and negligent publishers is what it takes then so be it. I sincerely hope it happens, because frankly Ubisoft's excuses for why it can't happen just get worse and worse every year.

Usually I'd leave it to some of my fellow gamers, or some random British YouTuber, to play the Jaded/Cynical one on this subject, but in this case I'll take the mantle. Because unless I see an ACTUAL trailer for the game at E3, I'm not believing a damn thing said about this game, even if it's from UbiSoft.

Oh don't get me wrong, I'll believe it when I see it. But it certainly would be nice to see Nintendo step in and show Ubisoft that there are plenty of gamers that would love to see a sequel to BGaE. It would be worth it just to see Ubisoft come begging for their IP back.
Ubisoft: Please, give me back my child! I swear I'm a good publisher! Nintendo: Sorry Ubisoft, but over two decades worth of negligence while spoiling your other IPs rotten hardly qualifies as good publishing, not to mention the troubling fact that you feel about animating women the same way Rob Liefeld felt about drawing feet. Ubisoft: But that was just a fluke! I swear, I'm great with female protagonists! We even have a female lead in Assassin's Creed Syndicate alongside the male lead and everything! Nintendo: Does the female lead have just as many missions and story attention as the male lead? Ubisoft: .........well, not necessarily... Nintendo: Get the FUCK out of here, Ubisoft!

Not really. I mean what, we lose Fable? It wasn't really the moneymaker Microsoft wanted, and could probably use this opportunity to get into better developers hands. I see this as Xbox cutting their loses, and I agree with this.
Well, the Fable games may not have been the runaway billion dollar Zelda-killing hit that Microsoft wanted it to be, but it was still a first-party IP in their hands. With it gone, what does Microsoft have now besides Halo? They've got Gears of War, which they're just sitting on and the creator is no longer part of the team. They got most of Rare's old properties, but outside Nuts and Bolts and the Rare Classics Collection they're doing fuck all with any of them. So...yeah. What's that leave them with?

Meh not fussed about Fable only really liked the first two and Peter Molyneux always had a tendency to over promise on things and never deliver. As for what MS has got this year Quantum Break, Cuphead, Halo Wars 2, Crackdown 3, Gears Of War 4, Recore, Sea Of Thieves, Killer Instinct Season 3, Tacoma, Supershot and We Happy Few. If you're a console player it's not like there's a lack of games coming to the Xbox One.
