Well ive seen some very mixed feelings, some people want it, some people dont, some people are inbetween.

So perhaps instead of bringing it online for the foreseeable future, i could host a temporary version so that everyone could get what they have posted and whatnot.

At the same time i could utilize this temporary opening to determine if the load is to much for my upload link and servers and then i can make a determination and then the community as a whole can decide what they want to do from there

@fairyslayer, i mentioned it to be temporary due to the fact that im going to be moving back to my homestate from virginia to alaska sometime in the middle of june, and while i do have a server up there in place already that i could move the site to it would take a speed hit for roughly a week until i got the main servers up and running up there, but beyond that if everyone didn't mind the speed hit for that week i actually would not have any problems maintaining it from there, it would actually be easier to maintain since electricity is much much cheaper in alaska than it is virginia (go figure am i right lol )
Im running servers all the time irregardless as to weather im hosting a website or not, its just i never run them to their full capacity so running wwoec would be a benefit to all

Same here. But I would also say that this forum is a very good place to visit as a new "watering hole." I'm certain to come back here more often if WWOEC makes a return.

My 2 cents, from a long time WWOEC member who couldn't art to save his life but very much enjoyed the community, is (are?) this: of course we are going to miss the old site, but we've found a place here that is welcoming, with people who are willing to help us get reestablished, and a website that is technologically sound and secure (not that I understand any of the server side stuff, but it does sound impressive). I don't think it matters if the WWOEC name is on the door, as long as the community is together and the artists are respected and appreciated. This seems like a great place for that to happen.

Idk... I kinda see this as a dick move especially with how nice Jab and Pal have been to take us in. A new wwoec is no easy feat especially seeing how cobra was just barely being able to scrape up the 400 a month to keep it going those last few months, even when he was getting money off of lusttoons and such.

Wwoec is gone, it's time to move on. Even if you try to make a new one, without cobra at the helm it'll still be a wannabe. It shouldnt even have the same name.

I for one am getting used to my new surroundings and am not as eager to jump ship at the first sign of the wwoec logo.

After a malware attack in 2014 I covered a painfully substantial penalty fee to keep WWOEC from being down for yet another month.)

A few years back, well like 10 years ago maybe I was given the opportunity to help run such a site while the owner was busy elsewhere and to be honest I failed miserably at it.

From that experience alone I have respect for Cobra and Cheetah as well as anyone who keeps running these sort of adult content sites. It's a minefield already to run a website, add a forum and then add the typical content you're posting here.

It's a lot to bear so if anyone wants to try it I'm all in for supporting their idea even if I think it's a suicide mission
