I had exactely the same problem when I was new here. And I´m not even an artist, I´m just a fan of Cats`n Cameras and the artists at TJA. But the more comments I write, the more I feel like a part of the "family" here.

Really that's all it takes. Now. If you had been here a few years ago, You wouldn't have wanted to stay. We were FLOODED by fans who did nothing but whine about the artists not doing basically free commissions for them. An unappreciative lot that stopped only to harass the artist to be faster. As you are both polite and appreciative and active, you are well welcomed. Don't know how many times I have to say we like you before you get the fact that we like you. But damn.

Wow, thank you very, very much! That really hornors me! And I think it´s an impudance to tell artists they should do free commissions, cause many earn their money with arts, and if they offer you a free commission you just should be happy and not demand another...

That my friend is steeped under fable and legend.

This place is starting to come back however and I am happy to see it do so. I had my fare share of good and bad memories here and although it is hard to shake the bad memories (Very hard I might add) I have come back hoping for more good memories than bad.
Though i'm pretty sure this time around I will enjoy it much more.

            uh-oh...

I will admit to being one of the art lurkers MangaManX's mentions, in well thought-out posts, I must say. All the artist here have a talent and style I enjoy and quite frankly, envy. Since my on artistic abilities are lacking, to say the least, and I have no training or experience in artist endeavors, there isn't much I could say to the artist of a constructive nature, other than, "oo, shiny!" And as mentioned elsewhere that probably becomes monotonous and ignored after a while.

Cats 'n Cameras convinced me to quit lurking, register, and become active int he forum because it has a story line that anyone with some life experience can post intelligent observations about the characters and the plot. Sooner or later I might actually make on of those intelligent posts.

I thoroughly enjoy V.Kyrie's art, mind you, and with Cheetah they have created a smart, and yes, sexy comic that I plan to follow. What I will do now, is to frequent the TJA side of the forum more often to see what is happenning. If there is a topic that I think I can add positive posts to, I shall! Just know that I am out there, most likely lurking, and enjoying all the talent being displayed.

Not much of a news-worthy post, I know, just wanted to speak up to add my support.

Spydermonkey is right thought, there have been a few bad times in our past. But that doesn't make the future any less brighter. All we have to do is avoid those mistakes again and we'll be fiiiiiiine. Don't worry about a thing.. cuz every little thing, gunna be alright.

Oh and don't worry about not reading Cats and Cameras, it's pretty new to TJA, there is plenty of time. Besides it isn't really the main attraction, more, A GREAT attraction to an otherwise JAWESOME attraction!

Well. Out of respect for the wishes of some who were present, best not to open old wounds. And honestly I would like to simply put most of the stuff behind me too. You'll find most members during that time feel the same. Lets just say it wasn't pleasant or worthwhile to remember aside from making sure it never happens again in our own way and leave it at that.

Don't worry, if anything like what happened comes around again, you'll know. And you'll see us react accordingly. And before you ask, no I don't see you or any of the new folk as going anywhere near that direction. So don't worry. Every little thing is gunna be alright.

Places can be bad everywhere. ive had trouble with a few trolls and anoying people. Heck my arts gotten me more than a few death threats and hate comments and notes etc. Things like requests I used to get all the time till I stopped doing them. Heck I took a request here and the person never even acknwlaged Id did it for them, lols mind you some I have did commisions for havent even given feedback on the finished commisions so i guess you cant expect common manners from everyone. Thats why I dont mind no post lurkers cos well they might not be contrabuting but they are not causing trouble. And sometimes if you cant say anything usefull at all its best not to bother.

And a great attraction it is. Focused, specific, and with (Bruce Lee voice) emotional content. A lot goes into it and that shows. Sometimes breathing life into characters is more rewarding to experience than simply looking at eyecandy, no matter how sweet. Plus, it is something uniquely unique to TJA. Why, I would go so far as to say that I wouldn't be surprised if "TJA" converted fully to "Cat's and Cameras" with the parody work sites as an added feature for beautiful and pleasing flavor. And Honestly, I wouldn't mind that. V. has certain been the longest mainstay for the site in my humble opinion. Much love to you Val!

...you know. Come to think of it. I honestly don't recall how the hell I ended up on TJA. I do remember my introduction first impression though. The "Well spoken poetic if not long winded spotty fellow afraid to call himself part Cheetah too". ah. Those were the days. Man, I do miss Zioa and Ro.

Heh, even if no one is interested in reading this, but I discovered TJA with the help of CnC. (Thank you god that you made me click the CnC link at Palcomix xD).
