            ...hard to say.

I’ve never been one for the aesthetic of large posters, mind you it is not that I don’t enjoy art and/or would not mind owning more to place on my walls, it is only the cost issue and over all expression of the work.

I’m rather picky about what I would like to look at day by day, and oddly enough I’ve only found four or five posters I’ve enjoyed looking at for so long. Two were a series of Smiley face variants, “Have a nice do-da-day” etc, one was a black velvet grim reaper holding an axe and petting a cat, and the other two are dragon prints from well known artists. The first three were bought merely because they were available and my walls were barren, the second two were gifts. None of them cost me more the three dollars, except the last print I received but it was a gift so it doesn’t count, so I can’t really judge a good price on posters or whatnot. However, I do know what I like and wouldn’t mind adorning my walls with.

Having said that, I think more people will buy the poster if they know what they are buying, vice/versa people will better know what they are buying if you ask them what they would like to buy. In other words, I don’t see you having allot of money to spend on this, and I think it is a hit or miss situation. It involves , I assume, allot of risk to create a poster that is expensive yet no one buys. Therefore I would suggest a great deal more market research before deciding what the poster will have on it etc.

This is not to say I am shooting down your idea, I think making posters feature good art and beautiful colors is a great thing, any expression of art is wonderful, but would I pay for just any expression? I don’t really have that kind of money, but I would still love to support, so I am trapped in being honest. As I would not be able to buy, and will not vote yes, because I would be unlikely to buy it and therefore would be padding false hope for sales. … hmm perhaps I’m thinking to much into this and need not explain my reasons, but I feel it is only right I comment honestly to help the community I’d like to help.

So in short. I would buy a poster if the expression of it was something I greatly enjoy, but I understand the broad general sense of what can and can not be expressed on a poster, and creating them will be expensive as will the production of them thus the price shall be high. I would rather everyone agreed on at least a general sense of what direction the poster was heading therefore you would have a higher chance of making more sales. But to tell you off the bat whether or not I’d be willing to buy a poster I’ve never seen is a cruel thing to do to you. Or I’m just a picky bastard. In any case. I apologize for the long post, but hope I made some concerns clear. Do I go to far? I can never tell. I hope no one is offended. Thank you for reading.
