Hi there thought I'd start a topic on movies, mostly to get you guys opinion on different movies that I might have missed in either cinemas or on DVD.
Every movie is a go-go, meaning discuss anything from the newest movies, at the moment that would be Salt, The Last Airbender, Resident Evil, The Sorcerers Apprentice... to older classic suff like Godfather or wathever else comes to mind.

Well that's about it for the overall idea of what is to be written about in the thread.

At the moment me and a friend a considering catching "The last Airbender" in the cinemas, but I've heard the most terrible things about how horribly bad the movie was. Has anyone seen it, and is it worth watching?

I Recently watched 'Salt', it was quite okay for a Bourne Idendity-like movie, didn't think I wasted any time on watching it, though some things in the movie were... well, quite obvious... or maybe it's just me who've seen to many movies in that genre... I'd like to hear your thoughts on that movie as well, as I'll be able to discuss it.

I also heared that "The Last Airbender" sucks. They said that if lou liked the show you´re gonna hate the movie xD I really wanna see the newest Resident Evil movie, even if I´m not such a big fan of them cuz they don´t really are like the games...

Yeah the 'Resident Evil: Afterlife' is our backup movie, if you will.
So based on everything we've read and heard about 'The Last Airbender' so far, we might end up watching RE4 instead. Though I also tend to prefer the games.
Then again has there ever been a really successful game to movie conversion or vice versa (can't remember one at the moment).

Am looking much forward to the movie version of 'Bioshock' and 'Kane and Lynch' though, really hoping the best as I loved the games.

Well I stopped watching the resident evils movies after the second one because they were so butchering the story and they werent well made to begin with. One friend saw it and said it was good but he has a thing for Milla whats-her-name so that doesnt count XD

Ive heard airbender bombed big time, and havent heard one person tell me its good, but I havent seen it so can only speculate, and theres alot of movies some people will think is good that others think suck.
