I have to agree, CnC is in good hands...and Zero's gallery is definitely worth checking out. Really good stuff in there!

Went through the jabarchives, and while the quality improves, the overall tone and style disturbs me. The predicaments that Sari got herself into were almost slapstick. But I see none of that in Zeroseven's characters. The parody folder in particular seems to primarily feature BDSM, with more emphasis on the bondage and sadism than anything else.

The fact that he hasnīt drawn that with his characters yet doesnīt mean that he isnīt able to draw a good comic. I really think that we shouldnīt worry so much about that. I think it is very difficult to draw characters that ainīt yours so we should give him some time. I think itīs unfair if everyone expects that he draws the characters exactely like V did. But the comic wonīt ever look like that again cuz heīll always will has his own style (wich I really like btw). So we should accept that and be happy that the comic will be continued

Just because an artist has a particular specialty, it does not mean that they are incapable of drawing anything else. It's like a commission of sort. Just because you are hiring on an artist who draws a lot of porn, it doesn't mean they are incapable of drawing G rated material as well.

Part of the work that goes into a co-op comic is a blending of ideas and compromises. The previous CnC strips were done with the writing being done by both V.Kyrie and Cheetah, and the current comics will be written with the same team. The actual scripts and writing isn't changing over, just the artistic hand drawing them.

I have full confidence that Zeroseven will be spectacular as the new artist as long as people don't jump up his orcifles as he gets used to settling in. V.Kyrie has had a couple+ years to get used to drawing the CnC crew, Zeroseven hasn't. It takes a while to get one's stride. And frankly, I think it's neat that the next storyline is being handled by another fabulous TJA artist. It is nice to see the different styles translate and honestly if it became a thing where a different storyline was done by a different artist, I think that would be the niftiest thing ever.

Maybe because those were Zeroseven's characters or interpretations of other characters? I don't know. So BDSM's not your cup of tea, and that's OK (BDSM's not my cup of tea either, after all). Zeroseven's not writing the comic; just drawing it. And his gallery shows I'm gonna love his turn at the artist's chair of CnC.

And I want to reiterate my gratitude that the comic is continuing!

I kinda feel bad I said anything critical about Zero's debut page, didn't know there would be such a pile on the new guy! I guess if we were a little more patient in the past they wouldn't have felt the need to rush something out to make the update deadline. How about "Caturday" is any day it's really ready? Sometimes that's Saturday... sometimes Tuesday! As far as Zero's taste in the more "adventurous" sexual themes, I wouldn't mind if that occasionally made it into the comic!
