I'm confused as to Rod's sexuality. He lusts after Alexia, however, she and Jo seem to think he's gay. Is he bisexual?

(Not a major issue, just wondering.)

I think once Rod sorts out how to approach a gal (read: Alexia) he should be able to get in touch with his feelings. Yep! That is my hope!

He really does look adorable. I like chihuahuas.

I think Rod just needs some time to tell Alexia how he feels. I would like to see how she reacts when Rod tells her. Could be a good story for CnC....

I like reading stories with Rod a little more then some of the other characters. Mostly cuz I can understand everything he's feeling.

Ya know his story does raise a question... Why does Alexia (and some others) think he's gay? Just cause he's too shy to flirt?

I've been wondering about that myself. Jim's comment a few strips back (10/03/2009 "43-Fwienship", 5th panel) about Rod finally getting his 'penis' back after two years makes me wonder if Rod had been in a gay relationship that did not work out, or was he in a failed heterosexual relationship that scared him away from another attempt for all that time while he brooded over the burn.

I've been mum on the subject until now as I figured the answers would come up sooner or later in the storyline.

Yeah, it's pretty normal for couples to poke fun at their single friends. I think that's why they poke fun at Rod
