I wasn’t feeling well this weekend (What the hell?! How many more times am I going to get sick this year? o_O), so when I wasn’t sweating my ass off or getting the chills from just sitting there, I decided to play some games. Now to those new to the site, I don’t get much time to play console games. Play lots of portable games on my 3DS, but sadly I lack the time to sit and play a larger game. Not this weekend. I finally set myself a goal and finished Super Paper Mario for the Wii. The game only came out in 2007 and has sat in my collection ever since. But now I can cross it off! WOooooo! Now I only have to play… a crap ton more. I’ve got more games in my collection that I’ve yet to play, I wonder if I’ll ever get through them all.
So, what did I think of Super Paper Mario. I liked it a lot. I loved the platform adventure with a dash of 3d mixed in. I felt there was lots for me to do and never thought that things where getting dull. The story was pretty good and even had things that I wouldn’t have expected to happen. Over all it was a great title and I’m glad I have it in my collection. Now on to the next one. I think I’ll put in Metriod: Corruption or Sin and Punishment: Star Successor. Although I have wanted to play my copy of Ico for some time now…

Has there ever been a game that you where so excited to play and couldn’t wait to play when you got it home, but didn’t or it took a long time before you did?
A few years ago I was very excited to get Monster Hunter Tri for Wii. My friends told me how they play the PSP ones and loved them and they where excited to get the Wii version as well. They talked it up pretty damn good, so good that I too was very excited to try it out. The day came, I bought it, took it home and tried it out and thought it was pretty cool. I was already playing another game and I didn’t want to abandon it before I finished it. I did finish that game eventually but I never got back to Monster Hunter. It’s not a game that I want to play with my kids so I only would play it in the evenings, something that can be hard to do. It still sits there in my game cabinet waiting for the day that I pick it up again. Not sure when that will be as I’m sure I’ve missed out on all the multiplayer and online aspects of game.
I have others that are waiting too, but that one is one I was super jazzed to get and I kick myself everyday for not starting it up. Some day…
So I’m pretty sure most can guess what I’m playing. I’ve got Aliens in my DS and Mario Galaxy 2 in my Wii. I’m totally enjoying both games. Mario feels like a continuation of what made the first one so awesome and Aliens is full of pixel action goodness. I’ll probably to a better review on it once I get more in to it.

So I just got done playing Fragile Dreams on the Wii and I thought I’d put down some of my thoughts on it.
Over all, I thought this RPG was very beautiful in sight, sound and story, but to sit and call it game isn’t how I’d properly describe it. It focus’s more on thoughts and feelings than any thing else I’ve played. The combat is quite light and gaining levels and becoming more powerful is totally not the main focus. No, I’d call this more of an interactive story with game elements, and that’s fine by me.
I just picked up my copy of Monster Hunter 3 Tri for the Wii. I picked up the classic controller bundle at Best Buy this evening. I did have it preordered at EB but for what ever reason, they didn’t get enough copies. So I got my money back and bought it at BB for $5 less. Yay!
I haven’t tried it out yet. I will after wife is done watching Glee.
No More Heroes 2’s lead character, Travis Touchdown, has a secret… he likes a loli, Sailor Moon style show called Bizarre Jelly 5.
The show is entirely fictitious of course, only made up for the game. That didn’t top Suda51 from having Travis collects such things like pillows, figures, posters and even a min shooter game you can play. Check the clip to see some of the game play.
I think it’s fun actually. They even went so far as to make a whole opening animation of the show for players to unlock. If you’re interested in seeing said clip, just follow the jump. I’ve also included a bunch of screen shots of some of the sexier parts. I’m surprised they made it in to the game to be honest. There’s pantie shots, semi nude transformation shots, nude bum shots and even a one frame partial crotch shot from behind ^_^ Oh, and there’s a fair douse of bouncy bewbs too.
