So the other day I posted about Senran Kagura: Portrait of Girls for the 3DS. Well what better way to help promote the game then with a gallery showing some sexy arts. I’m not sure who the artists are for this or why exactly it was up, but regardless I would have been all over seeing this. Why… WHY don’t we get things like this over here?! Check out everything that I was able to find after the link.

So there is this game for the 3DS that had one thing in mind. Boobies. The games designer, Kenichiro Takaki, knew this what people wanted to see when it came to 3D games. Thus, Senran Kagura: Portrait of Girls was born. It’s a beat’em up game that doesn’t hide that fact that the girls all have huge boobs. In fact, it was designed to be that way! ~sigh… yet another game that won’t make it over here. Check out some pics and clip after the link.

This past weekend the Hodare Festival was celebrated in Niigata Japan. If you’ve never heard of this, let me bring you up to speed. It’s a fertility festival that dates back to the 17th century and done to help fertility and bring good marriage to new couples by touching a giant wooden penis. Did I not mention that yet? Sorry, guess I should have mentioned that first.

Only in Japan would a company make, not only a fleshlight type toy that can plug in to your computer, but it can also tweet how much you use it. Adult game studio Tech Arts 3D has developed what they call the Onacon and it can apparently keep track of how much you use it, how long you use it for and your average speed. Then if you want, it can post your “play stats” on to your twitter a social networking site. I wonder if you can get achievements when you use it?

Where do games go when they die? No… I’m not talking about that NES copy of Wrecking Crew you’ve forgotten about, stashed away in the back of your closet. No, I’m talking about what happens to a game that gets canceled.
What got me thinking about this is a post I read on a Japanese dating sim for the DS. It was called Hachi Koi and was being developed by EA Japan. It featured seven characters to choose from (including a really cute, full figured character), and would allowed you to touch the girls in such ways like rubbing sun tan lotion on their back, tend to scrapes then might get and possibly a sort of sequence where you might cut one of the girls free from bondage. This in addition to asking and answering the right questions to try and win some of their affection.

So I’m tying out this new game called Retro Game Challenge for DS. It’s based off a show in Japan called Game Center CX. I posted about it a while back but here’s a quick refresh. It’s a “reality show” where you watch a guy play video games. Old video games. Like… NES games. He’s never played them before and it’s fun to watch him as he experiences them.
Anyway, this game is basically a bunch game challenges but the games are done up all old NES style. There are some top down shooters, a racer, a platformer and an old school RPG. On top of that the story that happens between the challenges ia set during 1980’s and feature two kids (one being the host of the show as a kid) as they wait to play the latest releases. You even get to thumb though game magazines and get tips and cheats for the games you play during the challenges. It’s all kinds of awesome and really brings back the feeling of waiting to play NES games from back in the day. I must have had the biggest smile on my face as I played the games. ^_^
Now the challenges are pretty easy I must say (that or I’m just super awesome) and the games aren’t licensed titles. They’ve been totally made up for the game but in all honesty, I didn’t care. I was nice to play some new kinds of NES games in these high poly, normal map days we live in.
So yeah… Retro Game Challenge DS totally makes me smile. I hope they bring out the sequel here. ^_^
