So the next step is picking the colours.  It can be tricky, you want to make sure that the colours you pick will reflect the character that your building.  It’s also at this point that I’ll be making small adjustments to make sure that the final pic comes out as it should.  So how about these colours?  Any opinons?

I’m actually really liking this design.  I might draw more of her if the commissioner is cool with it.  I think I might call her Jersey.

Last time on the 2 4 1 commission progress report, I showed the selection of poses that I had for the commissioner.  They had picked the one above, which meant it was now job to do a larger rough picture of said pose.  At this point I’ll put in the specifics like face, hair accessories and such.  Anything can still change, but with these details going in, I can start to take the character in a specific direction.  And as of this morning, I got approval that my direction was fine (save a few minor details) and so I’m ready to show it to you fine people. So remember that two for one commission call out I did a while back?  Well, I’ve finally got a moment to start it up.  I also got back in touch with the commissioner (who wishes to remain unnamed) and they said it was totally cool to post the progress of the commission.  This way everyone can have a first hand look as to how a commission works when you get one from me.  Now, the first commission was to be a demon type girl.  I’m totally free to make up the species, look and so forth… which is very cool in my books.  So the first thing I do is provide the commissioner with a bunch of rough poses to pick from.  You can see them above.  Once they get back to me I’ll start doing up a larger rough.  Would you like to see which one they picked?  Click to find out. Remember the show Rocko’s Modern Life?  No?  Well that’s okay.  I was a long time ago.  I used to watch it in high school.  Anyway, this character here is Dr. Paula Hutchison.  She was a character on the show and here this the result of a someone commissioning her.  Not bad if I must say so.  The art style of the show is very odd so it was a great challenge to do this up.  I think she came out rather well. ^_^

So I just got done another commissioned piece.  Here, I’ll show it to you.  I’m sure that some might say that it’s similar to one that I did last year (I think).  But I say that I must have done something right if others wish to have a commissioned piece that looks like it.  I hope the person liked this one too. ^_^

What’s a squee you ask?  Why it’s a squirrel and a bee!  A squee!!  This is the latest commission I’ve completed and I just thought I’d show her off as I think she’s super cute. ^_^
