So it’s now day 3 with the 3DS.  Lots of people at work come over to ask if they can see it and try it out.  I am, of course, more then happy to do so when they do.  I let them try out Street Fighter IV, to which everyone says looks and plays awesome.  Then, as they’re leaving, I bring out the AR cards that come with the system.  I then show them the little mini games you can play with them… and they’re hooked.  So many have now decided that they should pick one up after trying it out.  It seems to be one of those things that once you play it and see it for yourself you’ll lean more on the “gotta have it” side of things.  So be careful when you play one… it’s infectious. ^_^

So what did I do with my new 3DS on the second day?  Why I checked out some 3d pinup photos.  Japanese photographer Julie Watai has made available some sexy 3d type pictures so I ran over to the site and downloaded them.  It was pretty fun checking out sexy 3d pics on my new little system.  You can find the sexy photo’s here.

I also played swapped a Mii with a friend at work and checked out what the Mii Plaza had to offer.  It’s pretty cool since the new Mii’s come with a picture piece that you use to put together some Nintendo themed 3d pics.  You can also to this Find Mii adventure game with the new Mii’s  Think of it as longer drawn out RPG where you have to find more Mii’s to swap to play.

I also watched OK GO’s new video White Knuckles that came with a system update.  Pretty damn cool if you ask me. ^_^

I picked mine up this morning.  I was up at 6 am (thanks to my dog) so I figured, heck, I’m up, I might as well go and get one.  I was going to wait a bit until funds where better, but my wife said that I should go and get it.  I’m rocking a red DS Phat that can hold a charge for about a day… I guess I’m due.

I picked up the blue one and some Street Fighter 4.  I haven’t played it much to be honest.  I’ve been too busy trying out the AR games which are tons of fun.  I hope they put out more of these cards as they’re lots of fun to play and cool to show friends.  My daughter was totally amazed. ^_^
Lots of people have been saying that their eyes feel tired and such after playing, but I seem to be okay.  I didn’t feel tired… well… no more than usual.

Anyone else pick one up or are going to pick one up?  If so, which games?
