I guess it’s that time of year that I need to think about the candy cane picture I want to do this year. I’m pretty sure I want to do a Random Squirrel one… or maybe a Ping and Pong one. Not sure…. gonna have to think about it. But I would like to do some fan art too. Ever since I started to draw smutty things, my first love is drawing the fan arts. I also love to hear suggestions from the crowd too. So if you have any character suggestions for this years candy cane pic, shout them out for all to hear!
I guess I should also think about what kind of messy New Years pic I want to do. I missed out on 2012 so I guess I should do one this year. You know, start the year off right… and very messy. Very, very messy if I had it my way. Any thought on who is should be?

The other day at work… I totally farted. Normally I don’t do that right at my desk. I’ll go to the washroom and cut one in there. It’s a more suitable place. But this particular time I was at my desk and thought I could just squeak one out. It was lunch time and no one was around so I thought I’d be safe. Boy was I wrong. I can’t believe how bad I stunk! It was easily one of the most foul smells to come out of my body. That’s when others came back from picking up their lunch. No one said anything, but I don’t know how you could have missed it. My only hope was that no one would come over and talk to me in my stick cloud. Lucky, no one did. Ugh… next time I’ll make sure to excuse myself to the bathroom to avoid any embarrassment.
Have you tried to sneak one only to get caught or have it just really stick up the joint?

How much sleep do you get a night? I go to bed usually around 12:30am and get up at 6:20 am. That’s what… just shy of 6 hours. Not really enough I realize. I’m tired most days. I keep telling myself I need to go to bed sooner, but it just never changes. I draw my Tinkerbell folio as I watch TV shows but just when I think I’m done for the evening, I turn the channel over to TVO (TV Ontario) to see what The Agenda is about tonight. It’s a current events/political show and fantastic brain food. Next thing I know, it’s far later than it should be and I’m a chump for staying up late again. Ugh… not to mention that this year, day light saving time is kicking my ass. The clocks are telling me it’s only 11pm but my body says it’s 12am and it sucks. I should just take some time off from drawing in my evenings and try to get my body back on track.
Yeah… like that will ever happen. Zzzzzz….

Have you ever had the ending of a movie or a show ruined for you? I’m sure we all have at some point. It sucks, and once things have been said, it’s too late. The words are out there and you wished that the other person could just have just kept their mouth shut. Some even have the attitude that it’s your fault you didn’t watch it when everyone else did.
A buddy of mine at work hates that he has to avoid the internet until he’s downloaded and watched a show because he doesn’t have a TV. He’s had countless things ruined for him regardless of where he goes. Facebook is the worse, but he’s even had shows spoiled on art forums. Just out of the blue someone will blurt out “and can you believe when the truck blew up the factory and killed everyone?” Yeah, then he’s pretty ticked the next day.
If a show or movie has some time behind it, then I think you’re pretty safe to talk about it. If it’s a new, try to be a little respectful to those that might not have seen it yet. I hope that none of you have been that person that ruins it for others. ^_^

How big is your game collection? I asked myself this the other day I as added one more to the list. So I went down and counted what I have. I was going to list them all by name, but that would take forever, so you get a number approximation.
NES – 35
SNES – 15
N64 – 9
GameCube – 14
Wii – 22
GameBoy – 20
GameBoy Advance – 15
DS – 28
3DS – 2
Dreamcast – 7
PlayStation 2 – 8
Neo Geo Pocket Color – 1
Total – 176
One or two might be missing here and there, but I’d say this is pretty close. It’s interesting to see where I had more disposable money during console ownership. Not all of those were bought new. Some are second-hand. I’d say about 1/4 of my NES games are used. I also own all the original systems, plus some extras like a GameBoy Pocket, GameBoy Color and GBA SP.
I’m pretty happy with what I own. I make pretty good decisions I think and only own a few lemons. What’s the final tally on your game collection?

What things have you tried to take on or learn but failed. Well… maybe not failed. That’s kind of harsh. Quit! Yeah, that’s it. Name some of the things that you quit even though you had the best of intentions to finish.
Learning Japanese – Several years ago I signed up for online lessons speak and write Japanese. I really wanted to make this happen because I wanted to have an easier time playing import games. I also wanted to understand naughty Japanese manga. Sadly this didn’t happen. I found it hard to put aside the time to learn properly so I eventually stopped it all together.
Working Out – I used to work out all the time. I had a schedule and everything and I quite enjoyed it. But other things started to take priority and it just kept getting pushed to the side. This is something I really want to get back in to.
Learning 3D – I learned basic 3D a long time ago. I keep sort of relearning it ever now and again. My problem is that I don’t do anything to keep it up. Plus I’m known for my 2D at work so it makes no sense to give the 2D guy some 3D work. I really should try to get back in to it and try to make something 3D. Where to start is the question…
Flossing – This one sounds strange, but at the beginning of this year I decided to start flossing properly. By the summer I had stopped all together. It’s something I should be doing, it doesn’t take much time, but at the end of my day I’m usually so tired that I don’t care. I really should though. I think I’ll start this up again tonight.
What are some of the things you’ve stopped or walked away from for any number of reasons?
