All Art Has Stopped
I’ve taken on an art job recently to help with paying for a family trip. It’s a side job from what I do at work and in no way is competition to my career, but because I of this all my fun extra art has come to a halt. Tinkerbell folio has come full stop and my Christmas pic has slowed as well. This job is quick money that will come in very handy, but it sucks that it takes away from the art I’d rather be doing. Ah, well. In life we always have to do things we’d rather not be from time to time. It’s not that the job sucks. It’s just not the fun art I prefer to do.
The good news is, is that this job is almost done. I should have it done in the next few days actually. Then I can get back to drawing Tink and my Christmas pic. Yay! But chances are there will be only one instead of two.
What jobs have you had to do that sort of suck, but not quite? Just enough to make you want to get back to doing what you love.
