A neat feature I have behind the scenes here is the ability to see which posts are getting the most attention. Of course it’s usually the most current ones but more often then not, old ones pop up too. I get a big kick out of it because to me, it means my older posts are still interesting, to a few people at least. Just over the past few days some people where checking out the Pose Space post I put up, my Violet from Pleasure Bon Bon and MiffyMorgan picture post, the Mama Hater Peta game post and my Sola to Robo post. Oh, and my review on Pachinko Sexy Reaction.
From time to time even I go back and check out the older posts. I usually just go and pick one out at random from a few years back or so. I enjoy seeing what I wrote about and if I still agree with what I put up or what people might have said. If you run a blog or tumblr or something, do you ever go back and check out old posts? Or maybe even old posts from your favorite site?
I don’t know about you, but I love indie games. I love that we can now have awesome games made buy people that love gaming rather then large companies. These small gems can be even better and/or gain more attention then even the larger titles. I always amazes me the level of quality and perfection that one can put into something they’re passionate about. The latest indie title I’m very impressed with is the My Little Pony: Fighting is Magic game in development by Mane6 using 2d Fighter Maker 2002. I mean, if I didn’t say anything, you’d probably think this was an official game and not a fan made one. It’s pretty damn crazy with it’s twitch style fighting akin to Capcom’s VS. series. I would totally play this as it looks like a ton of fun and the animations are top notch for sure. As is the ponies attacks and supers. It’s not done yet, but when it is it’ll have a roster of 17 ponies which is pretty damn impressive. The lower clip is a full 2 hours of that game as it currently is. You can see the Street Fighter 4 inspired character portraits
Since we’re on the topic of ponies. What’s everyone’s opinion of pony art being delivered in my typical naughty fashion? Or is everyone on pony overload?
Lets imagine that tomorrow you’ll wake up as the opposite sex you are today. Not just a junk swap though, a full on switch-a-roo. You are now the girl/boy version of the “regular” you. What would you do? Would hide up in your house “exploring”? Maybe you’d go out and try to pick up some one for a date? Would you behave the way you wished the opposite sex would act towards you? What sort of issues or stumbling blocks do you think you’d discover being the opposite sex? I would probably shut myself up for the week. I couldn’t see myself going and trying out opposite me on the town.
So how long are you like this? Lets say a week. A day is too short to really understand life in different shoes, so I think a week would be a fine time before you wished you’d be back with your old body… maybe. ^_^
So the Olympic games are now in full swing. Did anyone catch the opening ceremony? I usually miss it, and by usually, I mean always. I never seem to catch it, but I usually watch the closing ones. Oh well, maybe some one has it online. Anyway, is anyone out there a big Olympics fan and totally jazzed that they’re finally here? Is anyone actually at the Olympics? I’m not a sports fan in anyway, but I do find that I enjoy sitting down and watching the events. I’m pretty cool, with what ever they’re showing and usually flip between different stations to see different events. Why this evening alone I watched some judo, swimming, biking and some still rings. There is just something about watching world athletes competing against each other.
I know there is always controversy at some point during the Olympics. Politics, drugs, scandals, commercialization and general unfairness to the poorer countries usually keep people away. But if you can look past that, you’ll find some great entertainment I think. Canada hasn’t won any medals yet (China has six already!), but I wish all our athletes the best during the games. They’re there to do what they do best and represent their countries regardless what happens around them and I believe they deserve our support. Go team Canada!
I have here the second in the series of “on a pillow”. It’s been a while since I’ve draw her so I hope I did okay. I honestly never really planned on making this a series, but I’m glad that I’ve decided to run with it. I do enjoy drawing them and I hope that others like them as well. As usual I’ve made a messy version past the link for those interested. So you might have noticed that you haven’t been able to leave a comment over the past few days. I was messing around with blog options and I checked a box that prevents people from leaving comments unless they’re registered users. The problem is that there is no way to register because I hadn’t checked the box that allows people to register. Sorry everyone. I’ve since flipped it back so that anyone can leave a comment and people can now register for the blog. Why would you want to register? Well, I’ve hidden a gallery folder so it’s only viewable to those that have registered. Can you guess which one? Some future posts will also only be viewable to registered people. I will keep commenting open to everyone unless the reply’s turn to spam. I’ve had a few come through, but I have to approve any new comments so they get zapped before they go up. So yeah, sorry about the screw up there people. Continue to comment as usual. ^_^
