Oh man, I’m so glad the weekend is over and I can go to work and get some rest. It’s been a long time since I’ve worked this hard in a one week. Helping with home renos and helping some one move and unpack is enough to wreck a guy. I can’t imagine what it must be like to do that for a living. o_o
So everyone knows what I did on the weekend. What did you do? Was it exhausting as what I did?
Holy crap am I tired today! For the past week my wife and I have been preparing out basement rec room for the new carpet. So we’ve been sanding down drywall mud, painting and cleaning the area and removing the last bits of carpet. After the carpet went down on Friday I spent about 5 hours putting together a lot of out of the box shelves. But today I got a break from all that… helped my Mother move to the city I live in. So I got up really early to get a U-Haul and drove it 4 hours to get her and her stuff. Packed it up with family help (my van was so full it looked like I was driving up hill all the way home) and then drove it 4 hours back and unloaded it. I did have help with that too though so it went fast. Now I’m ready to fall over I’m so damn tired. Tomorrow I get to go help her unpack boxes and then come back and try to straighten up my laundry room because that is still crazy after the whole new carpet instal.
It’ll all be over soon right? Then I can relax again… right?
Senran Kagura 2, that busty 3DS game that we all love to hate because no one will bring it over to North America has released a new trailer. Sigh… I don’t know why I tease myself with this game, but I can’t just ignore it. I mean… holy crap! boobs and butts galore! I wish North America wasn’t so uptight with sex… and yet we can have uncensored porn. Go figure. o_O
On June 17th, the small rural village of Liucunbu, China was digging a new well. They got about 80m deep when they discovered a strange looking object. No one knew what it was, so they put the long fleshy discovery in a bucket of water and called Xi’an Up Close, who sent out a news reporter to try and shed some light on what it could possibly be.
“As we can all see, this looks like a type of fungus, on both ends of which you’ll find mushroom heads,” the news report states. “On this side, you can see what looks like a pair of lips. And on that side, there is a tiny hole which extends all the way back to this side. The object looks very shiny, and it feels very fleshy and meaty too.” Well, if you haven’t been able to guess where this is going I’ll fill you in. What the village dug up was not a new variety of mushroom, it was a male masturbation aid and what the village didn’t know… the internet did. Once the report went out there, it went viral on how this village and news reporter mistook a sex toy for a mushroom.
Xi’an Up Close has since issued a correction and an apology. It also seems that they’ve put the blame on the reporter saying she is “still very young and unwise to the ways of the world”. What about the other people of the news crew? Maybe people where just to embarrassed to say what it really was to the reporter. What ever the reason, it’s pretty funny over all but I do feel bad for the reporter. I’m sure this is something people will never let her forget.
Today I went back to visit my DeviantArt account. It’s been quite a while since I did anything on there. The last pic I posted was… dang, I don’t even remember. I used to go there quite a lot actually, but slowly over the years I’ve been going less and less and spending more and more of my time here. If I do go there it’s to find pose ref photos. They usually have a nice variety there. Anyway, I went to DA today just to see what’s new and I noticed that I got a note. Apparently one of my pieces was taken down. I read this article today regarding a man in Japan that drew some smutty drawings on commission and then got arrested for them. Why? Did he get busted on drawing parody characters? Was he drawing loli drawings? No, that’s not why he found himself in hot water. What did it was the drawings where not censored. As many of you may know, in Japan it is illegal to sell or distribute uncensored pornography. It’s not illegal to own it, just to sell it. That’s gotta suck. Being in the business of smutty drawings myself, I feel for the guy.
How much was he selling his drawings for? $19 bucks. That it, he’s got himself arrested for $19 of uncensored porn that he drew himself. I realize that the law is the law and he broke a rule, but the censorship of art and free speech is just wrong. To tell someone what they can and can’t draw or write frees draconian to me. I don’t care what the subject is. Could you imagine if all my work had to be censored? I don’t think would even bother to be honest.
