Today is the day I turn 37, which is strange to think at I’m only three years away from 40.  I don’t feel like I should be this old.  I still feel like I’m about ten years younger, which is good I suppose.  I haven’t let getting older and watching younger generations rise up get to me.  Rather, I learn from those around be and really enjoy doing the things that make me happy.  I play my Wii U and 3DS, I draw my smut and spend lots of time with my family.  I couldn’t ask for anything more.  When my Tinkerbell folio is done (announcement on that very soon), I’ll have to draw myself something nice. Until then, this Elvgren will have to do.^_^

Hello and Happy New Year to you all!  I hope that you all had a fun and safe holiday season.  Mine was safe, but I did spend most of it sick.  Not just sick mind you, sick and away from home visiting family.  Ugh… but I put on a brave face and pushed though the best I could until I could get home.  Then stayed up till midnight on New Years and made it worse.  Double UGH!  I wasn’t alone in my suffering, Wife was sick with me so I at least had company.

At least I wasn’t sick on Christmas Day.  I felt fine on that day, and I’m glad because I was able to enjoy some of the fantastic gifts my wife got me this year.  I was truly shocked to find that she ordered a large Jessica Rabbit statue for me.  That’s her in the top image.  Not the one from the Disney Parks, she said she wanted me to pick that out for myself, but said this one should tie me over until then.  Continue on to see the full statue shot I also took.

A few years ago I sold all my Magic the Gathering cards.  I used to play back in high school, but I decided that I no longer needed them so I took them down to the local comic shop.  They gave me $20 for the whole collection.  I’m sure I got hosed, but I didn’t care.  It was now their job to try and sell them.  The other day I was going through boxes and I found a binder with some cards that where left behind.  The cards I owned where old ones. Not old enough to be worth anything.  Not that I’m aware of anyway.  I never did follow what was valued and what wasn’t.

So who’s got their tree up?  Anyone… anyone?  We put ours up on the weekend as we watched the Toronto Santa Clause Parade.  I will admit, it does seem a bit early.  But if I put it up at the beginning of Dec, it would feel really quick when I would have to take it down so there’s no winning really.  Well, it’s up now and I’m sure as heck ain’t coming down until after Christmas.  How about you?  When do you put up your tree/Manora or other holiday stuff?

This reminds me… I should start thinking about a holiday pic soon.  o_O

I wholly believe that more products need to have pin up girls on their packaging.  Someone needs to make this happen.

The other day someone I know said they saw me walking home from the bus stop and said I didn’t look very happy.  I didn’t notice them (they drove past me) but I don’t remember being unhappy.  I was probably deep in thought of video games and smutty images.  It did get me thinking about our “neutral” faces.  The ones we have and show the world as we go about our day avoiding talking to others.  I would agree with my friend and say I probably looked like someone that was kind of unfriendly.  Most of us do.  Check it out next time you’re out.  I’ve since been making an effort to look at little bit happier as I go about my day.  I don’t have a beaming smile, but I am more conscious of the image I’m presenting to others that I pass during my day.  I’m only 36, I don’t need to look like a sour puss right now.  I’ll have my later years for that. ^_^
