Yeah I also started using Paint Shop Pro (PSP9 to be exact). I can work pretty well with it (yes even with a mouse) but the downside is that I cannot edit my pictures that I've made in Paint. So now I'll have to start all over again.

Why can't you edit ones you've made in Paint?

Hmmm.. try saving it in a different format maybe? I'm not too familar with Paint... My version seems to have Bmps of several kind, jpeg, Gif, Tiff and Png.. So if your using Jpg or such, try a different version like gif or Png maybe? it's possible the jpg compression isn't compatable. (Or knowing Microsoft, just faulty?:P )

yeah thanks I will try that. btw I only mentioned the legit part because I've heard that some cracked programs etc can cause errors and stuff.

But let's go on and see if we can get some more Sam artwork

I had some free time today and thought I'd do a coloration of VKyrie's work. Still trying to work out the bugs of coloring so if it isn't perfect....sorry.

Hope posting this here doesn't break any rules...

I guess i did say i was gonna finish it too didn't I.. though in my defense, i never did say i'd do it fast:P But in all honesty you've done and probably will do a better one in your final version anyhow:P

err.. that was my final version.

it was just a quickie coloring I did, took about an hour or two.
I just dabble with gimp *shrugs*

I wasn't trying to show you up Tuffer, just thought after seeing your attempting to colorize the pic, that it was open forum for others to do likewise...

Opps, i missread your original message a bit about getting bugs out. Is Gimp the name of the program your using?

Lol.. Well don't worry about that, i don't even consider myself an artist really, just a wannabie at best.:P
As for this thread.. well i think it started with asking V.K. to do some more Sam. But V.K. is very busy so colourations came about. As for rules.. the Mods haven't squashed the thread.

Yeah, GIMP is a program that is Linux based program that can also be run on windows... and it's free! whoohoo! The hardest thing about learning that program is how to make a straight line. Recent revisions in the help manual have resolved that to a degree, but...

GIMP = GNU Image Manipulation Program

I'm not professional either, I just like seeing what I can do. I liked what you did changing the color of the outline which I have yet to figure out yet. My line work is rather jagged and the fill doesn't really do it completely. I imagine it has to do with layers, which again, I have yet to perfect handling.

The key word you forgot in your post is "...yet" heh
