It’s been a while since we’ve done this question and answer thing.  I really enjoyed the first one and the questions everyone asked.  So let’s try for round two!  Just put your answer in the replay section… or if you’re shy, drop me an email.

If you were allowed to make an original animated feature, what would it be?

    • Joe Randel Says:

It would be the animated story of some random squirrel courtroom stenographer as she gets wrapped up in murder case and helps to solve it. ^_^

  • CinosNroca Says:

If you had the opportunity to sit down and have a beer/hangout with any one person from any point in history, who would it be?

    • Joe Randel Says:

Gosh, with so many fantastic historical figures to pick from, it would be a hard choice for sure. I think I would want to talk with someone I could relate to and really take away something I could use. I would talk with Walt Disney. I’ve been on a Disney kick for a few years now, so to sit talk with the man that helped build the animation industry, would be fantastic.

When will You finish the Tinkerbell set? 🙂

    • Joe Randel Says:

Fair question. It’s going along very, very well. If I had to guess, I’d say it was 75% done. I currently have 5 or so pictures to paint. We’re super close now!

  • JJ Says:

Can’t think of many questions that I’m comfortable asking–either because you might be wary of answering them or because you might question my sanity for posing them. So, here’s a pretty safe one:

How did having your first child change your life, both immediately and over the years?

I’m really interested in the specifics, since I’ve read far too many cliche filled descriptions. Though, if you think that a cliche is truly apt, I’ll trust your judgement.

(Sorry, if you’ve covered this before. I did a brief search, but didn’t find any posts that directly addressed this question.)

    • Joe Randel Says:

Having your first child can and will change everything. It’s the first time you will see your spouse in role you’ve never, ever seen them in. The role of a parent. You really have to work together and both must learn to compromise or it just won’t work. You will be tired like you’ve never been tired before and as a result, you’ll be short and cranky when you probably don’t mean to be. Most importantly, you must understand the part you and your partner will play in this new life chapter. It will be the most challenging and stressful time of your life, but if you both can pull it off… it can be the most wonderful and rewarding one as well. I pull not punches in the truth of having kids and others at work come back to me and tell me I was right. I just say… I know. ^_^

From a major gamer who’s currently suffering through it…What’s your opinion of Dark Souls,if you’ve heard of it? If not, then kudos for intact sanity.

  • lamar dunlap Says:

Who is your all time favorite female cartoon character.

    • Joe Randel Says:

Oh man… that’s tough. I depends on the mood I’m in really. I couldn’t find one that tops the list. I’ve had a fondness for Babs, Gadget, Roxanne, Jeanette to name a few. Even new ones that come along can create a big spark. Sorry, I couldn’t ever pick just one.

If you were somehow forced to try a new hobby, that didn’t interest you in the slightest, what would you pick? Also, why?

    • Joe Randel Says:

A new hobby that didn’t interest me? Dang that’s hard. I guess it would have to be some sort of organized sport. Anyone would do since I don’t play or have an interest in sports at all. I’m sure I would hate every min of it too. ^_^ But, it would probably help me to become a more rounded person. That’s the neat thing about doing something out of your comfort zone. You tend to learn more about yourself then if you never tried it at all.

  • Podoboo Says:

Do you think you’ll ever want to return to older characters like Gwen or Miss K?

    • Joe Randel Says:

I think about them. I really do. I find them sort of bland now though. I have to really think about what to do with them to jazz them up at bit. Some day I’ll draw them again. Maybe next year that will be a running theme for me. ^_^
