Disney Art

One of my favorite things to do at Disney is check out all the awesome art.  I realize it’s all fan art, but it’s done so well and makes me smile.  I’m not too sure where in my house I would put these pieces of art, but they sure are great to look at.  Come check out some of my favorites from my trip.

This one was hiding at shop in the new Beauty and the Beast area.  I just love the design and line work.

These statues look so wonderful.  If I had a place for it (and several hundred dollars), I would have bought one.

Just love seeing Ariel play with real sea life.  It’s so cute!

I think this is my favorite drawing of Ariel.  Hands down, no question.

Another fantastic Ariel piece by the same artist that did the Belle one.

Once again, I checked out the clean/rough drawings that you can buy here.  Tinkerbell is well done, but looks a bit odd to me.

I mean, how can you not love these works of art!

I really like the style of this painting and the Tinkerbell at the top.  I need an office to hang this stuff up in.

I wonder what you have to do or who you have to talk to to get art in these shops.

This one shocked me a bit.  The artist had to give Minnie a figure and sexy legs, which is something you don’t really see with the character.  I surprised it got approved.

I really liked this one.  I seem to have a thing for Ariel. ^_^

This one from Fantasia made me smile so much!

I remember this book from the last time I was here.  It’s a good book with lots of different styles in it.

I think Minnie’s up skirts are so funny.  I thought she was holding her skirt up in this one.

A little Jessica Rabbit never hurt.  This one is pretty well done.

This Tinkerbell though is horrible.  I so wanted to sit down and draw this one better.

Why hello… we meet again.  I think this is a smaller version of the one I wanted last time.  It’s also $100 bucks less.  So did I pick it up?  No… I didn’t.  I wasn’t sure how to get it home safely.  Now that I’m home though, I do wish I picked it up.  The next vacation there, I’m buying one no matter what.I really wish I could get my art in a shop like this.  I doubt that Disney would approve of my current fan arts though if they ever found out.  I might look in to it anyway.  Getting my art in a Disney store might be my next life goal.  ^_^

Aw man! You still didn’t get that Jessica statue. Definitely try to get it next time.

I wouldn’t mind having that Slave Leia Minnie Mouse. Hot!

Since it’s too late to suggest that you ask the people in the shop, Disney will at the least have contact information for general inquiries.
