Happy Birthday Miu!
According to DeviantArt’s birthday service, Miu’s Birthday is today. Since he’s one of my favorite artists and I just adore his work, I decided to do up a fan picture for him. I’ve actually been wanting to make fan art of Peaches, Cream and the crew , but I just haven’t been able to get around to it yet. This seemed to be the perfect opportunity.

I thoroughly enjoy this picture. It’s cute,and Jam has always been my favourite character that Miu ever produced.
Miu’s style translates very well to your style. I can see that he’s been one of your most heavy influences. Now…The true question is…

Thank you ^_^ Maybe over time I’ll do the others. Jam was lots of fun to do so I can’t see why not for more. As for Miu being a huge influence, yeah, that’s so true. It’s funny though, when I started to draw and collect art I would collect all the art that I thought was cute and cartoony all the time. It’s what I liked the most. But during animation class, our prof told us not to draw like that. So I draw like I was taught. Now that I’m past that, I find that I’m just now starting to draw how I like. Soft, cute and cuddly toons. It took a while, but I got to where I wanted to be. ^_^

This looks great! I concur, I would also like to see Miu’s characters in your style. Maybe next you could do a Peaches and Cream pic? Just a thought…
